Chaos Mode is the hardest tier of Operation: Egg Heist. Per the 23 September update notice it unlocks on 24 September 2026 at 04:00 (UTC+8), the day after the maintenance window, with no closing date published, so this page treats it as a permanent addition rather than a timed event. Reaching Tier IV, "Elite Egg Seeker", in the ordinary Egg Heist ladder is the unlock requirement, and entry itself then costs a Chaos Ticket rather than being free like the tiers under it.

The notice’s own description: significantly higher drop rates for Prismana Aniimo Eggs and Prismatic Collectibles, a chance at ultra-rare Secret Collectibles, and strict escape conditions. It publishes no numbers for any of the three, and Chaos Tickets are not itemised as a reward or a purchase anywhere in the notice.

Operation: Egg Heist itself is the base extraction mode this sits on top of: 1 to 3 players, one egg and 20,000 Eggshell Coins needed to escape, everything in your backpack forfeit if you faint. Our Egg Heist beginner guide linked below covers a full run at the base tiers; nothing published so far changes those rules for Chaos Mode beyond the higher-tier gate and the Chaos Ticket cost.

Official description

This is the pinnacle difficulty mode, requiring a Chaos Ticket for entry. It features significantly higher drop rates for Prismana Aniimo Eggs and Prismatic Collectibles, alongside opportunities to discover ultra-rare Secret Collectibles. However, Chaos Mode is fraught with peril and enforces strict escape conditions. Teaming up is highly recommended.

Dates are the UTC+8 calendar days the official calendar publishes. The source gives no time of day, so treat the last date as the whole of that day in UTC+8 and do not leave a reward to the last hour of your own.

  • Prismana Egg icon, AniimoSignificantly higher drop rates for Prismana Aniimo Eggs and Prismatic Collectibles than the tiers below it, per the update notice. No rate is published.
  • A chance at ultra-rare Secret Collectibles, which the notice’s wording ties to Chaos Mode rather than the lower tiers.
  • No specific item list is published; the notice describes the drop-rate shift rather than a reward table.

Reach Tier IV, Elite Egg Seeker, in ordinary Egg Heist runs first. That is the gate; Chaos Mode is not available below it.

Bring a full team if you can. The notice calls the escape conditions strict and recommends teaming up in as many words.

A Sparkling Cube used on an egg from Operation: Egg Heist is the only published 1% route to a Shadow Sparkling. Nothing published says whether that odds table changes inside Chaos Mode specifically.

Chaos Mode is a difficulty tier inside Operation: Egg Heist, not a separate mode. The base mode’s rules, 1 to 3 players, one egg and 20,000 Eggshell Coins to escape, are covered in our Egg Heist beginner guide; the update notice adds Chaos Mode on top of them rather than replacing them.
