What is Aniimo Discovery: Hoptail?
Aniimo Discovery returns in Season 1 Part 2 with a new Aniimo, Hoptail. The official Update Preview of 16 October 2026 dates it 6 to 19 November 2026 and says Hoptail is obtained via Aniimo Discovery. With Jaguaraun, it is one of only two of the season’s new species the preview puts a date on. The Update Notice of 27 October 2026 does not list this event among the update’s events; the dates rest on the 16 October preview and on the Season 1 Part 2 calendar on aniimo.com, which draws Aniimo Discovery: Hoptail from 11.6 to 11.19.
The Part One edition, Aniimo Discovery: Dazmand, ran for two weeks from 25 September: you spent Search Attempts to track and catch the Aniimo, free attempts refilled but did not stack, and Vein Essence bought more. The preview gives no rules for the Hoptail run, so that is the last published format, not a confirmed one.
Hoptail’s panel shows a blue and white fox-like Aniimo with a yellow crest. No element or role is printed.

Tips
Keep some Vein Essence for 6 November. In the Part One edition it paid for Search Attempts once the free ones ran out.
If the format repeats, spend free Search Attempts before each refill: in Part One unspent ones did not stack.
Two weeks is all it gets: 19 November is the last day, in the middle of the Jeburst Vein Abundance week.
