Aniimo Regions: every location in Idyll

Idyll is split into 14 regions, played in level order from Lv. 5–15 in Nimbus Fields to Lv. 53–60 in Tideblossom Coast. Between them they hold 160 Aniimo entries, 27 Blooms to fast travel with and all 3,958 surveyed markers on the continent.

The outlines tile the continent with no gaps, so each of the 3958 surveyed markers falls inside exactly one region: that is what makes every count on this page countable. For the zoomable version with spawn zones and found-tracking, open the interactive map of Idyll, or the map of Astra for the city itself.

One row per region, lowest band first. Aniimo counts numbered entries and their regional forms separately; Only here counts the entries the spawn tables record in that region and in no other. Chests, eggs and puzzles are surveyed marker counts.

Why Breezy Plains is not a fifteenth region

The in-game map nests three levels: a top-level area, the regions inside it and the Blooms inside those. All 14 regions sit under one area, Breezy Plains, and the only other area the field data names, Whisperwake Isles, has no outline on the map of Idyll at all. Idyll is the land; Breezy Plains is what the map header calls this part of it.

Why a level panel in game can read a band this table does not have

Each band above is the base level the game’s own map data carries for the region, and it is not the only number in that data: 13 of the 14 regions are split into smaller blocks with narrower bands of their own. Every region page prints its own blocks. One reading we cannot place: the teleport panel for Nimbus Fields was seen at Lv. 17–21 on launch day, and no block of Nimbus Fields in the current data carries that range, so we report it as an observation rather than explain it.

Berylline Vale and Berylline Causeway

One region, two names. The map data reads Berylline Vale; the Aniidex habitat lists, the scene render and the official event calendar, which schedules a Vein Abundance week there, all still read Berylline Causeway. This site joins them and prints both.

Habitats with no outline

Crescent Bay appears on eleven Aniidex entries and on no region of the Idyll map. Every one of them except Shelly has no spawn coordinates in build 1.0.0.7 either, so there is nothing to place yet.

Whisperwake Isles

The second top-level area the field data names, and the one place on it the data reaches is Malevsera. It has no outline on the map of Idyll, so it has no page here; what is known about getting there is in our Whisperwake Isles guide.

Thousand-Fang Ridge

Not a second region: it is the lore name of the ridge inside Beast Fang Ridge, the one the quest chapter The Legend of Thousand-Fang Ridge is named after. The map calls the region Beast Fang Ridge; the story calls the ridge Thousand-Fang Ridge.

Rainbow Woods

Not a region: it is a Bloom inside Russet Highlands, one of the two you arrive through. Russet Highlands is the only region with no Bloom under its own name, so its fast travel points read Rainbow Woods and Twister Peaks, and the name on the arrival screen is not the name of the region.

How many regions are there in Aniimo?

14. The continent of Idyll is divided into 14 regions, from Nimbus Fields at Lv. 5–15 to Tideblossom Coast at Lv. 53–60, and every one of the 3958 markers on the map of Idyll stands inside one of them. Astra, the hub city, sits on the same continent and is mapped separately. The game's field data also names a second top-level area, Whisperwake Isles, which has no outline on the Idyll map.

What is the first region in Aniimo?

Nimbus Fields, at Lv. 5–15. It holds 17 Aniimo entries and 4 Blooms, the fast-travel points: Nimbus Fields, Crystal Cave, Freshsprout Hill, Sub-Idyllian Ruins. Nimbus Fields is also where the Who’s That Aniimo? event sends you, to Freshsprout Hill.

What is the highest-level region in Aniimo?

Tideblossom Coast, at Lv. 53–60. Two others run close behind it: Zephyrus Landbridge at Lv. 47–57 and Driftwise Meadow at Lv. 50–55. Each figure is the base band the game's own map data carries for the region. That data also splits 13 regions into narrower blocks with bands of their own, so a panel in game can read a range the region table does not contain: Tideblossom Coast, for instance, carries a Lv. 54–59 block inside its Lv. 53–60 outline.

Which region has the most Aniimo in Aniimo?

Russet Highlands, with 22 entries: 5 numbered Aniimo and 17 regional or Prismana forms. It also leads on exclusives, with 17 entries the spawn tables record nowhere else. Across all 14 regions, 160 distinct Aniimo are placed on Idyll, 66 numbered entries and 94 forms.

Which Aniimo region has the most chests?

Rosetower Woods, at Lv. 43–50, with 107 chests pinned inside its outline. The count is every chest marker surveyed on the map of Idyll that falls inside the region outline.

Where do you farm eggs in Aniimo?

Driftwise Meadow, at Lv. 50–55, has the most egg pickups in the open world: 17, on top of 55 chests. Every region card above carries its own egg count, and the comparison table lists all 14 side by side.

Which Aniimo region has the most puzzles?

Russet Highlands, at Lv. 45–50, with 20 puzzle markers, Sanctums and Lumin Puzzles included.

Which Aniimo region has the most to do?

Beast Fang Ridge, at Lv. 30–35, is the busiest: 452 markers of every kind, against 99 in Tideblossom Coast, the quietest.

Where do wild Aniimo spawn most densely?

Sea of Flowers, at Lv. 19–28, with 965 spawn coordinates, 15% of every spawn coordinate recorded on the continent.

How do you fast travel between regions in Aniimo?

Through Blooms, the vein-energy fast-travel points. 27 of them are surveyed across the 14 regions: 13 of the 14 regions have a Bloom carrying their own name, Russet Highlands is reached through Rainbow Woods or Twister Peaks instead, and 9 regions add Blooms at named sub-areas such as Freshsprout Hill, Crystal Cave, Beachside Sandbars and Whiterose Tower. Nimbus Fields has the most at 4.

Do Aniimo spawn in every region?

No. Region is only one of three spawn conditions: weather and time of day decide the rest, so a creature recorded in a region can still be absent when you arrive. Several Dark-element Aniimo are nocturnal and Prismana variants need a rainbow weather state. The spawn coordinates behind these counts come from the game's own data files, build 1.0.0.7, and carry no level of their own: a zone is read at the band of the region it sits in.

Why do some Aniimo list a habitat that is not one of the 14 regions?

The habitat field on an Aniidex entry comes from the Aniilog profiles, which lag behind the map data in two places. Crescent Bay names no outline on the Idyll map and almost every Aniimo carrying it has no spawn coordinates in the current build. Berylline Causeway and Berylline Vale are the same region under two names, so this site treats them as one.
