What is Set Out, Pathfinder!?
Set Out, Pathfinder! is the second always open new player event on the calendar. It starts on 16 September 2026 and the bar carries no end date.
The mechanic is published in full in the Welcome to Idyll notice: log in each day during the event to complete that day’s check in, and rewards are handed out on your total number of check ins. Check ins refresh daily at 04:00 (UTC+8), and seven check ins claim all the rewards.
Because the counter is cumulative rather than consecutive, the notice’s wording does not require seven days in a row. It requires seven check ins in total.

Log in each day during the event to complete that day’s check-in and earn rewards based on your total check-ins. Check-ins refresh daily at 04:00 (UTC+8). Check in for 7 days to claim all rewards.

Dates are the UTC+8 calendar days the official calendar publishes. The source gives no time of day, so treat the last date as the whole of that day in UTC+8 and do not leave a reward to the last hour of your own.

Tips
The daily reset is 04:00 UTC+8, not midnight. If you play late, a session after midnight and before 04:00 still counts towards the previous day.
Seven check ins is the whole track, so a week of short logins finishes it even if you do nothing else in the game.
There is no published end date, but new player events are usually tied to your account age rather than the calendar: start the run early rather than banking it.
