Tracing the Trail

It is a dispatch board, not a quest chain. The first screen is five clue cards: Nimbus Fields was open from day one, and Clue 2 to Clue 5 opened on 21, 22, 23 and 24 September 2026 at the 04:00 reset (UTC+8). Opening a clue opens a Deploy Aniimo panel with four slots, the first of which is the Leader Aniimo; its rule line reads “At least 2 required, lead Aniimo must be deployed”, and Quick Select fills the squad for you. You collect the rewards when the timer runs out. Recalling a squad early costs only the time already spent: nothing is consumed and there is no cooldown.

The grade and the clock are two separate systems. The letter counts how many of the three companion slots hold an Aniimo the area accepts, marked with a green face: B with none, A with one, S with three. A squad of three with only one marked companion still reads A, so it is not a head count. The clock is a flat 4 hours, and drops to 2h 48m when the squad includes a Prismana Form or Sparkling Aniimo: the client’s rules say they “can sense the residual energy of Legendary Aniimo, which will help speed up the investigation”.

Of the Part 1 events, only two reached into December 2026: this one, closing 9 December, and Legendary Journey: Walking with Irisalis & Gift of Blessing, which the 23 September update notice extends to 10 December 2026 at 07:59. They open five days apart and close a day apart, and every investigation pays an Irisalis Petal, which the petal’s own How to Obtain list confirms. The Season 1 Part 2 calendar on aniimo.com draws the Irisalis bar but not this one, and the Update Notice of 27 October 2026 does not mention it, so the 9 December close rests on the launch calendar.

Put an Aniimo whose Potential you still want to raise in the Leader slot: the Select Leader window says the lead Aniimo is the one that can receive Chance Encounter Gift: Energy Resonance, the Potential +1. The Leader does not count towards the grade, so fill the three companion slots with the Aniimo the panel marks in green.

A Prismana Form or Sparkling Aniimo in the squad cuts a 4 hour investigation to 2h 48m, which is one extra run a day if you redeploy promptly.

The event runs to 9 December 2026 and closes at the 04:00 reset on 10 December. The client warns when there is no longer enough time left to finish a dispatch, so start the last one early.

One wording is unsettled: the panel says the gift is guaranteed, while the event rules say you “have a chance to receive” one. We read the panel as the clue’s own reward set, and will correct this line when the client makes it clear.
