Aniimo 1.1 Update Patch Notes: Irisalis, Holo-Battle Interlink, Chaos Mode and Every New Event
Sarah Sunstone’s Sunnyside Up roundup of the first major Aniimo update, checked line by line against the official notice. Every event window converted from UTC+8, the Irisalis petal sources read off her own screen, the Windchaser’s Departure pod, Chaos Mode’s Tier IV gate, and the Nurture routine she used to pull a Prismana Stellarys in four tries.

The event screens, petal sources, Nurture footage and shop frames on this page come from Sarah Sunstone’s Sunnyside Up news episode of 22 September 2026, and the Nurture routine is hers
The Aniimo 1.1 update patch notes cover the game’s first major update, installed during maintenance on 23 September 2026 from 00:00 to 10:00 UTC+8: the legendary Irisalis from 25 September, the co-op Holo-Battle Interlink, Egg Heist Chaos Mode, four new events, two Vein Abundance weeks and Glimmer x500 for every account registered before the update.
Mobile goes live on Google Play and the App Store the minute the servers return. Sarah Sunstone walked through the whole preview a week after launch in her Sunnyside Up news episode, with her own save open on the screens that matter: the petal counter, the Nurture menu, the shop. This page follows her order, quotes the official 23 September update notice for every date and gate, converts the times the notice only prints in UTC+8, and flags the three places where her reading goes further than the notice does.
Aniimo 1.1 update patch notes: everything the 23 September update adds
Seven dated windows, one weekly mode and four different unlock gates. Nothing opens during the maintenance itself. Chaos Mode is first, a day later; the Legendary Journey chapter is last to close, on 10 December. The notice prints every time in UTC+8, so the two columns on the right are our conversions (UK on BST until 25 October, US Eastern on EDT).
| Event | Window, UTC+8 | UK | US Eastern | Unlock |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Egg Heist: Chaos Mode | From 24 Sep 04:00 | 23 Sep 21:00 | 23 Sep 16:00 | Tier IV Elite Egg Seeker |
| Holo-Battle Interlink | Weekly, Thu 04:00 to Mon 03:59 | Wed 21:00 to Sun 20:59 | Wed 16:00 to Sun 15:59 | Trailblazer I |

Read the unlock column before the dates. Four of the eight rows want Student II, which is the second title rank, and Sarah points out at 1:43 that your title is shown on the character Info page. If you started on launch day and only played in the evenings, check it now: Student II decides how much of the first weekend you can see.
Is Aniimo down? Maintenance times and the 500 Glimmer
Servers are offline on 23 September 2026 from 00:00 to 10:00 UTC+8. For the Americas both ends fall on 22 September, which is why Sarah gives it as noon to 10 p.m. Eastern. Strictly that clock is on EDT in September, not EST, but the instant she names is right.
| Clock | Servers go down | Servers back, mobile live |
|---|---|---|
| UTC+8, the notice’s clock | Wed 23 Sep, 00:00 | Wed 23 Sep, 10:00 |
| UTC | Tue 22 Sep, 16:00 | Wed 23 Sep, 02:00 |
| United Kingdom, BST | Tue 22 Sep, 17:00 | Wed 23 Sep, 03:00 |
| Central Europe, CEST | Tue 22 Sep, 18:00 | Wed 23 Sep, 04:00 |
| US Eastern, EDT | Tue 22 Sep, 12:00 | Tue 22 Sep, 22:00 |
| US Pacific, PDT | Tue 22 Sep, 09:00 | Tue 22 Sep, 19:00 |
The notice adds that the “actual maintenance duration may vary based on progress” and asks you to restart the client afterwards. Compensation is Glimmer x500 for “All Pathfinders registered prior to the version 1.1 update”: an account that existed qualifies, logged in or not. Sarah says to claim it from the mailbox once servers are back; the notice itself does not name the delivery route. Mobile needs 18 GB free per the pre-download notice, and if your phone is refused, our device requirements fix and the full specification sheet cover it.
How to get Irisalis and the Iris Petals
Irisalis is not caught in the wild. From 25 September 2026, 10:00 UTC+8, you craft the Legendary Aniipod: Irisalis from Iris Petals, the crafted cube opens the Rift Space where Irisalis lives, and the chapter runs until 10 December. It needs only Student I, the very first title rank, as Sarah stresses.
This is the second half of the story that started at launch. The Events menu already carries a Legendary Journey tab, and on Sarah’s save it reads 33 petals collected against milestones at 20, 40, 60 and 80, with a second tab called Unknown Chapter locked behind a 3 days 8 hours countdown. Her point is practical: if you have played normally since 16 September, you already hold a stash, and nothing in the notice says it resets.
The How to Obtain button under the petal counter lists every permanent source with its progress. On her screen: Main Story 6/12, Gather 2/8, Journey Quests 3/10, Alpha First Clear 6/17, Elite Pathfinder Challenge 0/7, Branch Nurture 9/18, Silver Badge 4/14, Aniimo Topic 2/16 and Tracing the Trail 1/5. Add those caps and the permanent pool is 107 petals. Next to them sits the Weekly Rotation tab, locked, with the same 3d8h timer: it is the “weekly-limited source for Iris Petals” the notice introduces, and it will reset weekly rather than run dry.
Sarah’s advice is to sort the list by what you would do anyway. The Gather petals are placed by hand: the game’s Help entry “Irisalis Petal: Gathering” puts Parts I and II in Lumenfly Valley and Parts III and IV on Tideblossom Coast. Alpha First Clear pays for first wins on the Institute Guide’s Alpha Challenges, and she still has 11 of those 17 open.
After you befriend it, the notice says, Irisalis unlocks “its exclusive Transmog ability”. Sarah reads that as a way to change its colour and says plainly that she is guessing; the notice defines nothing more, so treat it as unknown. Irisalis itself is filed on our Irisalis Aniidex page as Aniilog No.013, Grass, DPS, 540 total base stats and no wild habitat, which fits a creature that only lives in a Rift. Squad pairings are on the Irisalis squad page, and its two outfits and the event changes AniimoSync spotted are in our Irisalis skins guide.
The Windchaser’s Departure Aniipod: a guaranteed Sparkling catch
Once the Irisalis pod is crafted, further Iris Petals buy a second Legendary Aniipod, Windchaser’s Departure, which the notice says “guarantees a 100% capture rate”. The captured Aniimo is guaranteed Perfect Innate Potential, its Sparkling Form, and “exclusive seasonal perks” that nobody has described yet.
Sarah calls it “pretty amazing if it can be used on any Aniimo, which it sounds like it can be”, and that is the right amount of caution. The notice never lists a restriction, but it never says “any Aniimo” either. Her plan is ours too: hold the pod until you know which creature deserves a perfect Sparkling copy. Nothing else in the game stacks those three guarantees. Every route on our Sparkling variants guide guarantees the mutation and then rolls the style, and the Sparkling Cube routes leave potential to chance. Neither pod has a published petal cost: the notice says “a required number” and “a certain number”. The launch item table files this pod as “Windchase Departure”; our Aniipods index uses that string, and the notice’s spelling is the newer one.
Holo-Battle Interlink: four-player Alpha raids, Wednesday to Sunday in Europe
A new co-op mode, open every week from Thursday 04:00 to Monday 03:59 UTC+8, unlocked at Trailblazer I. Converted, it opens on Wednesday evening in the UK and Wednesday afternoon on the US east coast, and closes on Sunday. Plan the week off the notice’s weekday names and you lose the first night.
The notice credits the mode to the Battle Art and says it recreates “Alpha encounters based on historical data of high-threat Aniimos”. Each cycle has three routes with their own Alphas and environmental mechanics, all replayable, and only your best Star Rank per route counts. Milestone rewards pay on the combined Stars across all three. Buffs are chosen before the fight, and in four-player co-op the team leader picks them for everyone.
Sarah’s two practical notes: you can match with AI teammates if you have no group, and helping other Pathfinders raise their Star Rank pays Support Rewards. Both reward streams reset weekly. The Holo-Battle Interlink event page tracks the weekly windows.
Trailblazer I is a big ask a week after launch. On the Talents tab it is the title that lifts the level cap to 65, and Sarah, already a Wayfarer at level 45, notes that anyone keen on the mode will need to level their character further first.
Egg Heist Chaos Mode: how to unlock it
Chaos Mode unlocks on 24 September 2026 at 04:00 UTC+8 and needs Tier IV, “Elite Egg Seeker”, in Operation: Egg Heist, plus a Chaos Ticket for every entry. It is the top difficulty of the game’s PvPvE extraction mode.
The reward is the reason to bother: “significantly higher drop rates for Prismana Aniimo Eggs and Prismatic Collectibles”, and a chance at ultra-rare Secret Collectibles that appear nowhere else in the notice. The cost is “strict escape conditions”, and the notice recommends a team. Nobody, Sarah included, yet knows where a Chaos Ticket comes from. If you want the rank first, our Egg Heist beginner guide walks the ladder, and the egg index lists the Prismana egg types. The Chaos Mode event page will carry the ticket source once the client shows it.
Glamour Star: the Floral Soirée fashion event
Glamour Star runs 25 September 04:00 to 2 October 03:59 UTC+8, needs Student II, and this run’s theme is Floral Soirée. It is the event Sarah is most excited about. You pick one Aniimo, accessorise it to the theme and submit it; the Institute scores how well the creature and its accessories match, and score milestones pay the rewards.
The notice gives one window. Our Glamour Star event page carries two more, 9 to 15 October and 23 to 29 October, from the official event calendar on aniimo.com. The notice neither confirms nor contradicts them, and no scoring weights are published, so whether the creature or the accessories matter more is still unknown.
Aniimo Discovery event: when it runs and which Aniimo it is
Aniimo Discovery runs 25 September 04:00 to 9 October 03:59 UTC+8, needs Student II, and the creature is Dazmand. The notice only says “a brand-new Aniimo”. Sarah names Dazmand from the developers’ earlier announcement, and the official event calendar, which carries Dazmand’s artwork on its bar, backs her on our Aniimo Discovery page agrees.
You spend Search Attempts to track and capture it. Free attempts are replenished periodically, and the notice is blunt that “unspent free attempts do not stack”, so a few days away costs you attempts. Vein Essence buys more once the free ones run out. Research quests tied to the creature pay rewards, and research progress unlocks Search Buffs at the “Research Center”, as the client spells it. Dazmand is Aniilog No.038, Lightning, Support, 522 total base stats, and the client files no wild habitat for it.
Vein Abundance: Prismana Melloblum, then Prismana Waleetle
Prismana Form Melloblum in Rosetower Woods from 28 September 04:00 to 5 October 03:59 UTC+8, then Prismana Form Waleetle in Berylline Vale from 5 October 04:00 to 12 October 03:59. Both need Student II. They run back to back, which Sarah likes, because the update spaces its load instead of dropping everything on one weekend.
Prismana Melloblum is Grass and Light, a Support with 517 total base stats, and the game’s habitat table puts it in Rosetower Woods like the notice (see it on the map). Prismana Waleetle is Earth and Dark, a DPS with 516, filed in Berylline Vale (map).
Sarah uses the live Beast Fang Ridge week to show what each one contains. There is a Mass Surge of one species that keeps spawning, Bonesky here, which is where Lucky Strikes come from. Every catch feeds the region’s Prismatic Energy, and the fuller it is, the better the chance of the regional Prismana. The third card is the one to plan around: “Prismatic Energy from Nurturing +50%, Attempts left: 3/3, Available Fri.–Sun.” Sarah says three attempts; her screen adds that they only count on the weekend. The whole rotation, including what comes after Waleetle, is on our Vein Abundance rotation page.
How Sarah pulled a Prismana Stellarys with Nurture
Nurture opens once you hold an area’s Bronze Badge; a Nurture at the Bloom spawns a burst of Aniimo to catch, and interacting with the Bloom again when the timer ends releases Prismatic Energy. Sarah says it took her experimenting to understand, so she spends two minutes on it.
The menu names the prize for the area, here “A chance to attract a Prismana Form Glynsera”, and shows the area’s energy state. When the burst ends, the Bloom offers Release Prismatic Energy, and the game spells out the rule: “Each time a Bloom releases Prismatic Energy, there’s a chance a Prismana Aniimo will appear!”
Her result is the proof. During the first Vein Abundance in the Forest of Falling Stars she needed four Nurtures and two Lucky Strikes before Prismana Stellarys spawned, and she notes the game marks a spawned Prismana on the map so it cannot be missed. Her conclusion: if you want a region’s Prismana, Nurture during the +50% weekend and not the rest of the week. It is the same route our Nurture and Prismana guide sets out with the thresholds.
Prismana Stellarys is Dark and Ice with 505 total base stats, and the Forest of Falling Stars is its only habitat in the client. For Beast Fang Ridge the target is Prismana Glynsera, Light and Ice, 512.
Journey Chronicles and the two new shop items
Journey Chronicles runs 1 October 04:00 to 29 October 03:59 UTC+8, needs Student I, and pays travel gifts for logging in on a set number of days. Sarah calls it the most beginner-friendly thing in the update. The notice prints neither the number of days nor the gifts, and the official event calendar labels the same window Journey Moments.
Aniimo is free to play, Sarah reminds viewers, and both additions are optional. The Radiant Waveglow appearance set costs 980 Lumin Crystals, level with Seaside Heartbud. The Laurel Moon Blessing pack is 280 and holds three items: the Floral Moon Jukebox furniture, the Laurel Lantern accessory and the Moonbound Journey accessory, which makes it the cheapest cosmetic in the shop after the 380 Lulu Starlight set. Both sit under Shop, then Featured. Prices for every set are on our outfit prices page and the outfit index.
The quality-of-life changes that change how you play
Blooms now last 3 minutes instead of 2, Companion mode shares rare resources with the whole party, and some outfit sets now trigger Affinity Abilities with specific Aniimo. The rest of the list is menus, shortcuts and art.
The Bloom change is the one Sarah picks out, and it is the biggest in practice: half as long again to catch the burst, which also means more spawns per Nurture. She has caught an Umbral Aniimo in one of these bursts and says Sparkling ones can appear too. On Companion mode she is pleased that rare resources gathered by anyone are now shared with the whole party, and invites no longer need you to stand face to face. She adds a complaint the notice does not answer: her party invites are invisible to other players, and she saw no fix listed.
The outfit line is the one to watch. Equipping specific outfit sets “now activates Affinity Abilities between your character and designated Aniimos”, and the notice names neither the sets nor the creatures. Sarah imagines the Lulu Starlight set unlocking a little interaction with Celestis, hopes it stays cosmetic, and asks for free alternatives if it turns out to affect play. That is a fair worry, and an unanswered one.
Controller players get better navigation in Home Layouts, Home Index, Park Buffs, Home Season Lunar Crops and Building Controls, which Sarah says was the clunkiest part of the game on a pad. One line cuts the other way: unobtained Sparkling Forms are temporarily hidden in the Aniilog, so the preview route in our Sparkling guide stops working until a later update restores it. The fixes include the red screen tint on some devices and the infinite reconnection loop. The complete list, word for word, is on the 23 September notice page, and everything live today is on the events hub.
