Aniimo 1.1 Changes From the October Dev Feedback: Irisalis Potential, Sparkling Hues and Legendary Aniipods, With AniimoSync
Pawprint answered seven player questions on 1 October 2026, and four of them change the game in version 1.1. AniimoSync read the whole post on screen the same day. Here is every question and answer word for word, what each change means in numbers, what is still unanswered, and why he says feedback is working.

The on-screen reading of the 1 October 2026 Dev Feedback, the gameplay footage and the opinions credited to him on this page by AniimoSync
Aniimo version 1.1 will fix Irisalis’s Innate Potential at ATK 10, REGEN 10 and 5 on the other four stats, let a Sparkling Prismana Aniimo switch freely between every Sparkling Hue it has unlocked, original Prismana colour included, and let a Legendary Aniipod be used on a Sparkling Aniimo you already own. All three come from the developers’ Dev Feedback of 1 October 2026, which also answers questions on mobile lag, slow support tickets and failed Steam or console linking. No release date for 1.1 was given.
AniimoSync put the whole post on screen the same day, question by question, over his own gameplay, and explained each answer as he went. Every quotation below is read off his frames, with the timestamp. Where his spoken reading and the text on screen differ, this page follows the text and says so.
One thing the post does not touch is the Lightweave gacha, and AniimoSync opens on that before anything else: criticising part of the game, he says at 0:08, does not mean he is done with it.
What changes in Aniimo 1.1, according to the October Dev Feedback?
Four of the seven answers announce a change to the game, and all four are tied to “the version 1.1 update”. The other three are about work in progress (mobile performance, support response times) and a how-to for account linking.
| # | Player question (short) | Answer | When |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Sparkling rerolls give repeat colours | Switch freely between every Sparkling Hue already unlocked | Version 1.1 |
| 2 | Keep the original Prismana colour after a Sparkling Cube | Yes, the original Prismana Hue stays selectable | Version 1.1 |
| 3 | Irisalis has 88 Potential, someone else 99 | Fixed: ATK 10, REGEN 10, HP 5, BREAK 5, M.DEF 5, P.DEF 5; excess paid back in Starcryst Essence | Version 1.1 |
| 4 | Legendary Aniipod effect on an owned Sparkling | Legendary Aniipods can be used on Sparkling Aniimo | Version 1.1 |
| 5 | Lag and overheating on mobile | A dedicated team is optimising for popular devices | No date |
| 6 | Support tickets are slow | Support system upgrade, bigger team, faster handoffs | Ongoing |
| 7 | Steam or console account failed to link | Ticket under Account Issues, Steam Relink (PSN/Xbox) | Now |
The post opens with a letter. Its key line, at 0:42, is a promise of a routine: “Every so often, we’ll round up the issues you care about and talk about most, and share with you what we think, what we’re changing, and what’s coming next.” This is the first of those round-ups since launch on 16 September, and it follows the 3 September dev letter that removed random Legendary catches before release.
When is version 1.1? Not announced. The 23 September update was itself called the version 1.1 update in its notice, titled Setting Out in Pursuit of the Wind: Part I, so these changes most likely land with a later part of 1.1. That is a reading of the titles, not a date. On 2 October 2026 none of the four changes is in the game, and the patch notes page will carry the notice when it is published.
Can you switch Sparkling Hues and go back to the original Prismana colour in 1.1?
Yes to both, once 1.1 is live: every Sparkling Hue a Sparkling Prismana Aniimo has unlocked stays available, and so does its original Prismana Hue. Today a reroll overwrites the colour you had, and a Sparkling catch replaces the Prismana colour for good.
AniimoSync’s explanation, at 1:45, is the case everyone has had: you reroll a green you dislike, land on another green, reroll again for a blue, and then gamble the blue away hoping for something better. Under 1.1 the blue is not lost; it waits in the list. We covered that answer in depth, with the Pigment cost and the repeat-hue arithmetic, in our Sparkling Pigment piece, and AniimoSync’s reading matches it: the roll stays random, only the loss goes away.
Question 2 is the one his video adds. It is asked about the Sparkling Cube, the capture item that guarantees a Sparkling catch, and its answer settles a point that page had to leave open.
Our earlier piece said ZakkuVerse read the post as including the original colour, but that the paragraph he showed did not contain the sentence. This one does. The switch back to the original Prismana Hue is confirmed by the developers, not inferred. AniimoSync adds one doubt of his own at 2:36: whether an Aniimo switched back to its Prismana colour still counts as Sparkling, with the glow, is “unknown”. The post does not say, and neither do we.
The hue set itself, twelve slots per Aniimo from Sparkling Type I to Shadow, is in our Sparkling variants guide.
Why is Irisalis’s Potential being fixed, and to what?
Because a Legendary you can only get once should not roll badly. After 1.1, every Irisalis has the same Innate Potential: ATK 10, REGEN 10, HP 5, BREAK 5, M.DEF 5 and P.DEF 5. Any Potential your Irisalis has above those values is converted into Starcryst Essence.
The “88” and “99” need a word. No single Potential number in the game reaches 88; each of the six stats carries its own small number, as our Potential guide shows. AniimoSync reads it at 2:44 as “eight out of eight” against “nine out of nine”, and that fits the client: the two stats the fix sets to 10, ATK and REGEN, are the ones a DPS like Irisalis is built on, and the Sparkling Cube’s own description promises to raise the chance that a Perfect catch’s “Innate Potential for recommended attributes will exceed 8”. So the complaint is almost certainly an Irisalis with 8 and 8 on its two key stats, against one with 9 and 9. That reading is ours.
What the numbers are worth: one Potential point adds 4% to its stat, so the fixed spread gives Irisalis +40% ATK and +40% REGEN from Innate Potential alone, and +20% on each of the other four. The spread adds up to 40 points. The two Perfect catches filmed in our Potential guide carried 32 points each, with 8s on ATK and REGEN. A fixed Irisalis will therefore beat a typical Perfect roll on both key stats.
| Stat | Fixed Potential in 1.1 | Bonus at 4% a point |
|---|---|---|
| ATK | 10 | +40% |
| REGEN | 10 | +40% |
| HP | 5 | +20% |
| BREAK | 5 | +20% |
| M.DEF | 5 | +20% |
| P.DEF | 5 | +20% |
| Total | 40 points |
The compensation goes the other way from the complaint. An Irisalis with ATK 8 rises to 10 for free. One that rolled, say, HP 7 drops to 5, and those two points come back as Starcryst Essence, the client’s “extremely rare crystal used to increase an Aniimo’s Acquired Potential”, as quoted in our Tracing the Trail guide. That per-stat reading is ours; the post only says “any existing Potential above these values”.
Here AniimoSync goes further than the screen, twice. At 3:36 he says Pawprint is “allowing all of our legendary Aniimo to be 10 out of 10”; the post sets 10 on two stats and 5 on four, not 10 on all six. At 3:53 he says players who already invested in Irisalis will be paid back “the resources that you already spent”; the post promises Starcryst Essence for Potential above the fixed values and says nothing about levelling or ascension materials. Wait for the mail before counting on more. If you are building one now, the squad does not change: our Irisalis teams already assume ATK and REGEN first.
Can a Legendary Aniipod be used on a Sparkling Aniimo you already own?
After 1.1, yes: a Legendary Aniipod used on a Sparkling Aniimo replaces the Aniipod it was caught with and gives it that Legendary Aniipod’s exclusive Sparkling effect. AniimoSync puts it plainly at 4:22: you no longer need to catch a new Aniimo to get the effect.
Which pod has an exclusive Sparkling effect today? In the game’s data files, one: Legendary Aniipod: Windchase Departure, whose description reads “catching an Aniimo is guaranteed to succeed, its Potential is Perfect, and it will always be Sparkling, with the season-exclusive Sparkling effect of Windchase Departure.” It costs 50 Irisalis Petals, up to ten times, as our Legendary Journey guide sets out. The plain Legendary Aniipod used in Vein Rifts carries no Sparkling effect in its text. So, on today’s item list, the change means putting the Windchase Departure look on a Sparkling you already raised. That is our reading of which pods qualify; the post says only “Legendary Aniipods”.
Two things the answer does not say: whether the old Aniipod comes back to your bag, and whether the swap touches Potential, since the pod itself promises Perfect on a fresh catch.
Will Aniimo fix lag and overheating on mobile?
A fix is being worked on, with no date: “A dedicated team is optimizing for popular devices right now to reduce lag and overheating and improve the mobile experience as soon as possible.” That is the whole answer, at 4:40.
AniimoSync guesses at 4:49 that this means the most used iPhones and Android phones. Nobody has named a model. Until a patch lands, check your phone against our system requirements page, which lists the official mobile minimums and storage size.
How do you fix a failed Steam or console account link, and why are tickets slow?
For a failed link, file a ticket under Account Issues and pick Steam Relink (PSN/Xbox) twice; slow tickets are being addressed with a support system upgrade, a bigger team and faster handoffs between teams. The answer to question 6, at 5:00, admits that complex cases need account data checked across several teams and “may take longer”.
Question 7 is the useful one if your pre-order rewards never showed up on the account you play. The steps, as printed at 5:34:
- Log in to the Aniimo Customer Support page.
- Under Quick Support Links, click Account Issues.
- Select Steam Relink (PSN/Xbox) for both the second-level and the third-level category.
- Submit a ticket with four things: the platform ID you want to unlink (for example your Steam ID), the UID you are contacting support from with the email linked to it, the UID you want to unlink, and the platform currently linked to that UID.
AniimoSync calls it “a really good fix” for players whose pre-orders did not carry over. How linking was meant to work in the first place is in our account linking Q&A.
What does the October Dev Feedback not address?
The gacha. Lightweave, the random cosmetic draw that opened on 30 September 2026, is not mentioned anywhere in the post. AniimoSync’s description says it plainly: the gacha situation is “still unresolved”, and nothing in his video suggests it has been fixed or even directly addressed. At 6:22 he adds that he “still feels the pressure” of it.
The rate, the ticket price and what a 50% chance costs are in our Lightweave breakdown, built on his previous video. For the background, the roadmap interview and what Aniimo removed before launch cover what Pawprint promised about random draws.
Other things players asked about and the post leaves alone: duplicate protection on Sparkling rerolls, Umbral looks surviving evolution, and Egg Heist matchmaking. Those are ZakkuVerse’s suggestions, not announcements, and they stay that way until a notice says otherwise.
AniimoSync’s view: does player feedback change Aniimo?
His answer is yes, and this post is his evidence: “feedback does work and changes are implemented.” He frames the whole video around it. Criticising Pawprint over Lightweave does not mean he is done with the game; he still enjoys it, he says at 6:25, and he speaks up “for a large portion of the community”.
His position is a cautious one: he is “not giving up on Aniimo”, but waiting for things to change. The record so far backs half of it. All four 1.1 changes answer questions players asked in the first two weeks after launch, on rerolls, Irisalis rolls and Sparkling effects. The loudest complaint of the last three days is not on the list.
His advice to readers is the same as in his Lightweave video: keep giving feedback, respectfully, where the developers read it. On the evidence of 1 October 2026, they do read it.
