Aniimo Hexxin Build for Egg Heist: LEWIS’s Chaos Squad with Irisalis, Tromber and Alpha Leafy, Corrected to REGEN and HP

LEWIS soloed Chaos Egg Heist with a level 60 Hexxin and three assists, then pinned a correction: ATK does nothing for Hexxin, so the points go to REGEN and HP. Every screen of his build is here, read off the frame and checked against the game’s own skill text, with the arithmetic behind Waltz, March and Vitality Blooms.

The Hexxin build for Egg Heist that LEWIS uses to solo Chaos is a level 60 Hexxin with REGEN and HP awakened, a Heartseeker Pendant at +15, and Shard Impact and Black Hole Domain as its two skills, backed by Irisalis, Tromber and an Alpha Leafy as assists. The REGEN and HP part is his own correction: the video, published on 6 October 2026, spends points on ATK, and the comment he pinned under it says that does nothing for Hexxin.

LEWIS films the whole setup screen by screen, then takes it into a solo run. Below is each screen as it reads in the frame, the correction applied, and every skill card checked against the game’s own text (build 1.0.0.7, client text of 9 October 2026, checked on 24 October 2026). Where the card and the creator differ, the card wins and the page says so.

New to the mode? Our Egg Heist beginner guide walks a full run from the loadout to the Egg Boat, and the Chaos Mode page covers the difficulty this squad is built for. For Hexxin in the field rather than in Egg Heist, the Hexxin team page has the overworld squads.

What is the best Hexxin build for Egg Heist?

LEWIS’s answer, with his correction applied: Hexxin as the main Aniimo with REGEN first and HP second, the Heartseeker Pendant at +15, Shard Impact and Black Hole Domain, and three assists chosen for burst, Crit Damage and sustain. In Egg Heist the three assists are each limited to one move, their Core Skill, as our Core Skills guide explains, so each slot is picked for that single button.

His Hexxin is a Sparkling Prismana Hexxin, and he says straight away that a regular one does just as much damage. Our data agrees: Prismana Hexxin and the basic form share the same 542 base stats and the same skill list, Dark and Grass, Regen role. His one ask is a Perfect personality, and every Aniimo on his screen reads Perfect except Leafy, which is Elite.

LEWIS calls the build Nightmare in his title, but the party screen before his run reads “Operation: Egg Heist Team Mode Difficulty: Chaos”, and he buys a Chaos Ticket for it. Chaos is the mode tested here.

The pinned correction: put Hexxin’s points in REGEN and HP, not ATK

At 1:01 LEWIS says to max REGEN, then ATK, then HP; his pinned comment withdraws the ATK step. It reads, word for word: “Upgrading ATK with Hexxin does NOT actually help as they’re a regen type and their abilities do not scale damage with the ATK stat, please invest ALL points into [REGEN and HP] then any leftover into [DEF]”.

Aniimo Hexxin Capability Awakening wheel at 29 of 35: REGEN 18, ATK 16, HP 16, P.DEF 4, M.DEF 4 and BREAK 3
1:16. LEWIS’s Hexxin at 29 of 35 awakenings. The 16 in ATK is the part his correction takes back.

The correction matches what the site already had. menaceFT’s stats guide found that ATK does nothing for Hexxin’s damage today, that its trait reads REGEN and that Oozing Malice reads HP. The developers then explained why in their 13 October post: non-DPS Aniimo get a level-based ATK floor in the damage formula, so added ATK below that floor changes nothing. Our Version 1.1 ATK article covers the promised change; until it lands, the correction stands.

The skill text points the same way. Hexxin’s trait, Prank, curses enemies hit by its next skill every 18 s, and Dark basic attacks on cursed targets restore EP, “scales with the Aniimo’s stats”. Neither Shard Impact nor Black Hole Domain carries that note. In Egg Heist Hexxin is on the field the whole run, and HP is what keeps it standing.

What changes on his copy: REGEN needs 2 more points to reach the cap of 20, HP needs 4 to reach the next breakpoint at 20. Six points out of ATK would finish both, if at least six of ATK’s 16 are awakened rather than innate. His Hexxin is level 60, and the client lets you reset Acquired Potential “for Aniimo at Lv. 60 or below” with every item refunded; LEWIS puts the price at 200,000 gold. Past level 60 the reset is gone, so decide first.

Star-up and the materials that slow it down

LEWIS stops Hexxin at 5 stars, which allows 35 awakenings; the 6th star adds 8 more and costs Phenomena Crystals, which he is saving. His panel reads “Gained: Capability Awakening Count +8” and “Six Potentials +1” next to the greyed 6th star.

0:50. Five stars filled, the sixth greyed. That +8 takes the awakening cap from 35 to 43.

That fits the limits measured in menaceFT’s guide (5, 30, 35 and 43) and Kneil’s Irisalis at 30/43 in his endgame squads. The other bottleneck is Starcryst Essence, which LEWIS calls Stardust Essence in his voice-over; the tooltip spells it Starcryst. He owns 2.

Heartseeker Pendant +15 on Hexxin

LEWIS levels the Heartseeker Pendant to +15 to open both rank effects, and picks it because Hexxin lands many critical hits that each roll for extra damage. At +15 the card reads Damage Amp 20.0%, double the Legendary base of 10%, and “No Active Contract”: no pact is needed for anything below.

Aniimo Heartseeker Pendant card with Tier 1 at 10 of 10 raising the extra hit chance to 100% and Tier 2 at 15 of 15 adding Crit Rate and Crit Damage stacks
1:50. Tier 1 (10/10) makes the extra hit certain; Tier 2 (15/15) adds 10% Crit Rate after every non-critical hit and 5% Crit Damage per consecutive critical hit, up to 6 stacks.

Read together, the effects explain the choice. The core effect gives a 50% chance of an extra 10 Might hit after a critical hit; Tier 1 makes it 100%. Tier 2 feeds the loop: a miss raises Crit Rate by 10% until a crit lands, and a run of crits stacks up to 30% Crit Damage. A multi-hit area like Black Hole Domain rolls that loop many times per cast. menaceFT reached the same item for an Egg Heist Hexxin, and gives a support Hexxin the Ferocious Fang instead.

The +15 takes 6,750 enhancement EXP in total. The pendant drops from the Alpha Geoclaw, from Adventure Rank chests, and sells for 250 Paw Coins in the Pawprint Shop; its page lists every rarity.

Shard Impact and Black Hole Domain

Both skills cost 20 EP and carry 54 Might: Black Hole Domain pulls enemies into a black hole and keeps hitting them, Shard Impact leaves a sigil that strikes the pile and stuns it for 2 s. LEWIS sets Shard Impact on the left and Black Hole Domain on the right.

Aniimo Hexxin skill wheel with Shard Impact and Black Hole Domain equipped, Annihilation Bomb as Ultimate, Luminous Seed below
2:15. Black Hole Domain’s card: Magical, Draw In, 20 EP, 1 s cooldown. Annihilation Bomb sits in the Ultimate slot.

The pairing is about crowds: the black hole gathers a room and Shard Impact pins it. That is the same skill Lex’s Prismana farm uses to pile targets for a catch, here used to pile them for damage. The ultimate, Annihilation Bomb, carries 164 Might, three times either skill, which is why LEWIS calls it Hexxin’s only true burst.

Irisalis, the burst assist (Wurps’s setup)

LEWIS fills the three assist slots by role: a DPS for extra burst, a Crit Damage buffer because Hexxin lands many crits, and a source of healing, energy or both. The DPS slot is Irisalis, a setup he credits to fellow YouTuber Wurps. Helion held the slot before and is his stand-in if you have not unlocked Irisalis.

2:56. His three roles: DPS, Crit Damage, then Healing + EP Regen, “heals, energy, or a mix of both”.

As an assist, Irisalis brings one button, and LEWIS makes sure it is Irisalis Shadow. The card: after Iris Shot hits, one Iris Clone appears for 30 s and fires a Floral Gleam Beam at once.

His Irisalis is at 5 stars and 31 of 35, CP 3201: ATK 20 MAX, REGEN 16, HP 11. Irisalis is a DPS in our data, so ATK does work here; his order is ATK, then REGEN, then HP, the same as menaceFT’s in our Irisalis build guide.

The held item is the Floral Rainbow Feather at +15, Irisalis’s bonded item. Core effect: summoned clones deal 30% additional damage. Tier 1: 5 Energy and 5 Ultimate Points for every clone summoned. Tier 2: 8% Damage Amp and 8% Crit Rate for each clone on the field.

It costs 30 Irisalis Petals in the Legendary Journey shop. LEWIS opens the petal’s How to Obtain screen: Main Story 12/12, Journey Quests 10/10, Branch Nurture 18/18, Gather 8/8, Alpha First Clear 17/17, Silver Badge 14/14, Tracing the Trail 5/5, plus a weekly Elite Pathfinder Challenge and Aniimo Topic. Why spamming Black Hole Domain costs you amplifiers

LEWIS’s reason for Irisalis is gear: a traditional Hexxin spams Black Hole Domain, and he says every skill used drains the durability of your Attack Amplifier, enough to replace it every two heists. With Irisalis, he says, the burst comes from her beam, her held item and her trait, and the ultimate comes round far more often.

Aniimo comparison card over Egg Heist footage: Traditional Hexxin spams Black Hole x3, Hexxin with Irisalis gets massive burst damage from held item, ability and trait
4:31. LEWIS’s summary: Black Hole three times on a traditional build, against burst from held item, ability and trait with Irisalis.

The client text confirms that amplifiers wear out: the relics that refill amplifier energy “also reduce the amplifier’s durability”, and the game warns “Amplifier durability is too low!” How much one skill costs is not in the text we checked, so the 100% to 10% bar on his screen is his illustration rather than a measurement. Replacing one is cheap on his shop screen: the plain Attack Amplifier sits at 1,000 Eggshell Coins under a 90% off tag (10,000 at full price), the Tactics version at 30,000 under 50% off.

4:46. His overlay walks the bar from 100% to 50% to 10% as Black Hole Domain and Shard Impact are cast.

Tromber, Waltz and March

Tromber’s Core Skill, Waltz, costs 0 EP, comes back every 15 s and raises Crit Damage for 20 s; with the pact boost it also grants March, which restores 0.8% max HP per second. LEWIS’s Tromber is only 3 stars and 5 of 30 awakenings, and the one stat he raises is ATK, to 13: 8 innate, 5 acquired.

Aniimo Tromber awakening panel at 5 of 30, Perfect, CP 2503, ATK 13 with Innate Potential 8 and Acquired 5
5:06. ATK 13, the only stat Tromber’s Waltz reads.

ATK is right on Tromber, unlike Hexxin, because the buff itself scales on it. The amplifier line reads “28.0%, plus an additional 2.63% for every 100 ATK, up to a total maximum of 49.0%”, the same line menaceFT found. LEWIS’s copy shows 43%. Working back, 43 − 28 = 15 points, or about 570 ATK; the 49% cap arrives near 800 ATK.

6:21. Waltz at 43% on his Tromber, beside the amplifier: 28.0% plus 2.63% per 100 ATK, capped at 49.0%.

The heal comes from the pact. LEWIS’s Ferocious Fang +15 shows “Pact Effect Activated: When [Tromber] is equipped with this Held Item, their signature skill: [Waltz] will be enhanced.” A contract costs 10 Marks of the Strong on a +15 Legendary, as our pact held item guide details, and LEWIS warns it adds up across a box.

Aniimo Ferocious Fang +15 on Tromber with Damage Amp 20.0%, ATK +2, the ATK above 15 Tier 2 and Pact Effect Activated enhancing Waltz
5:36. The pact line is the reason for the Fang here. Tier 2’s doubling needs ATK above 15, which his Tromber at 13 does not reach yet.

His tip at 5:54: an Alpha already has its signature skill boosted, so an Alpha Tromber needs no contract at all. Cheep Tamer showed the same on Alpha Stellarys and Magmarex in the pact guide. The boosted Waltz card ends “Also gains [March]”, and March reads 0.8% max HP per second for 20 s.

Aniimo March buff tooltip restoring 0.8% max HP per second for 20 s, beside the enhanced Waltz card and a March Heal 16% max HP note
6:56. 0.8% a second for 20 s is 16% of max HP per cast, which LEWIS’s note rounds up for you.

The timing is the point. Waltz lasts 20 s and comes back in 15 s, so both buffs can stay up without a gap, for no EP. The card’s 30% bonus needs three movement-series buffs; Waltz and March make two, so it does not trigger in this squad. If Tromber costs too much, LEWIS names Glacy as the plain healer.

Alpha Leafy and Vitality Blooms

The third assist is an Alpha Leafy, because an Alpha comes with its Core Skill boosted and saves the contract. LEWIS calls it easy to get: beat the Alpha in the overworld and catch it. Our earlier coverage puts it in the Mistwoods at Lv.45, at this map marker. His copy’s Appearance Tag reads “Alpha Body Type”.

Aniimo Appearance Tag on LEWIS’s Leafy: Basic Form and Alpha Body Type, individuals larger in size than the average Aniimo
7:16. The Alpha Body Type tag. As the pact guide notes, the tag only mentions size; the boosted skill card is the proof.

That card is Vitality Blooms: 10 EP, 20 s cooldown, a 12 s circle that restores 3.22 Energy and 1.07 Ultimate Energy per second to Grass-type teammates, lingers 3 s after you step out, and turns grass into Vitality Blooms that restore 1% HP per second. Over 12 s that is about 39 Energy and 13 Ultimate Energy, more if you stay through the linger. Hexxin is Dark and Grass, so it qualifies.

Aniimo Leafy Vitality Blooms card, EP Cost 10, Cooldown 20 s, restoring 3.22 Energy and 1.07 Ultimate Energy per second to Grass-type teammates for 12 s
7:26. The boosted card. menaceFT’s Alpha Leafy at REGEN 19 reads 3.54 and 1.18; this one is at REGEN 10.

One point to correct politely. LEWIS says the boost unlocks the healing. The healing is in the plain skill too, through Turf turned into Vitality Blooms; what the boost adds is the Ultimate Energy, the 3 s linger, and grass rather than only Turf. The heal is real either way.

His Leafy is Lv.57, Elite, 1 star, CP 1774, with REGEN at 10 and everything else left alone. The held item is a Spirited Feather +10 reading REGEN 7.5% with “Tier 1 effect (10/10) REGEN +2”: an Epic, 5% base plus 50% from enhancement. LEWIS says purple does the job and gold is better; the Legendary adds 10% cooldown reduction at +15, doubled above 15 REGEN, which this Leafy is far from.

His stand-ins for Leafy are Somniwing and Besauce, both regen supports. The whole squad can be loaded in the team builder.

The Chaos run and the rotation

LEWIS buys a Chaos Ticket, goes in solo, and repeats one loop: Black Hole, then Tromber and Leafy, then the Irisalis beam, then the ultimate. In the Egg Heist shop the Chaos Ticket is 200,000 Eggshell Coins.

8:36. The Egg Heist shop before the run: Chaos Ticket 200.0K, Attack Amplifier 1000.

Before the run the game raises a “Risk Warning: No Healer Aniimo equipped!”. LEWIS ignores it because March heals, and warns that a Tromber without the pact or the Alpha boost has no heal, so the warning would then be right.

Aniimo Egg Heist Risk Warning before the Challenge button: No Healer Aniimo equipped, shown for a Hexxin squad with Tromber
8:48. The warning counts healer roles, not March. Ignore it only if Tromber’s Waltz is boosted.

The order, from his overlay: drop Black Hole Domain on the pack, fire Waltz and Vitality Blooms at once for 43% Crit Damage, healing and the energy field, cast the Irisalis beam the moment there is 40 EP, then the ultimate, which he has back after one or two packs. Waltz costs nothing, so it is pressed on every cooldown.

Confirmed, measured, opinion

Confirmed by the game’s text: Hexxin’s role, elements and skills, the trait that scales with stats, every skill and held item card quoted here, the pact line on the Fang, the boosted Waltz and Vitality Blooms texts, the reset rule at level 60, and the fact that amplifiers lose durability.

Read off LEWIS’s screen: his stat values, stars and awakening counts, Waltz at 43%, the Chaos difficulty line, the shop prices and the loot total. The ATK behind his 43% is our arithmetic, not a number he shows.

LEWIS’s opinions and claims, labelled: the three support roles, Irisalis over Helion, the durability cost of one skill, the 200,000 gold reset price, Glacy, Somniwing and Besauce as stand-ins, and the idea that the build makes Chaos feel easy. The Irisalis support DPS setup is credited by LEWIS to Wurps. For where this squad sits against others, check the tier list.

  1. What is the best held item for Hexxin in Aniimo?

It depends on the job. For Egg Heist, where Hexxin is the main Aniimo dealing damage, LEWIS and menaceFT both use the Heartseeker Pendant at +15: 20% Damage Amp, a guaranteed extra 10 Might hit after each critical hit, and Crit Rate and Crit Damage stacks from its Tier 2 effect. As a support in the overworld, menaceFT gives Hexxin the Ferocious Fang instead.

  2. Is Prismana Hexxin better than normal Hexxin for Egg Heist?

No. Prismana Hexxin and the basic Hexxin have the same 542 base stats and the same skills, including Shard Impact, Black Hole Domain and Annihilation Bomb. LEWIS runs a Sparkling Prismana Hexxin and says a regular one does just as much damage; a Perfect personality matters more than the form.

  3. Why does Egg Heist say No Healer Aniimo equipped?

The Risk Warning appears when no Aniimo with a healer role is in the squad. It does not count heals from other roles, such as March, the 0.8% max HP per second that a pact-boosted or Alpha Tromber gets from Waltz. Without that boost Tromber does not heal, and the warning is then worth heeding.

  4. Can you reset awakened Acquired Potential on a level 60 Aniimo?

Yes, at level 60 or below. The client lets you reset Acquired Potential for an Aniimo at Lv. 60 or lower and returns 100% of the items used; above level 60 it cannot be reset. LEWIS quotes the price as 200,000 gold, which is how a Hexxin built with ATK can be moved to REGEN and HP.
