How to Get Inferlupa in Aniimo: It Cannot Be Caught
Inferlupa is the one wolf in its family with no wild spawn anywhere in the launch client, and no Aniipod will ever land on it. The only route is the Warrior quest in Beast Fang Ridge, which the game gates behind two real-time waits, and then an evolution on a Flameruff you have already levelled. WOLF ran the whole chain on camera and we checked every name, item and number against the game’s data files.

You cannot catch Inferlupa in Aniimo. It has no wild spawn at all, and the only way to own one is to finish the Warrior quest in Beast Fang Ridge and then evolve a Flameruff you already have. The quest is gated by two real-time waits, so the fastest anyone can do this is three calendar days.
That is the whole answer. Everything below is the detail: where the chain starts, what each night asks of you, the two materials to farm while the clock runs, the fight at the end, and the exact evolution requirements the Evolve screen prints.
Two sources, and each section says which one it leans on. The walkthrough is WOLF’s, filmed in the live game on 18 September 2026, and every timestamp below points at his footage. The quest names, item names, drop sources and evolution conditions come from the game’s data files, build 1.0.0.7, the same catalogue behind our Aniidex. Where the two disagree, the client wins and the page says so. Checked 18 September 2026.
Can you catch Inferlupa in Aniimo?
No. Inferlupa is the only member of its evolution family with no habitat and no spawn coordinates anywhere in the launch client, so no Aniipod will ever land on one. WOLF puts it plainly at 0:12: it does not spawn in the wild, and it is not something you stumble across like an Alpha boss.
The data files say the same thing from the other side. Emberpup, Flameruff and Scorchhowl all carry Beast Fang Ridge in their habitat list and all three have spawn points on the map tables. Inferlupa has an empty habitat list and no spawn points at all.
| Aniimo | Wild spawns in the client | How you get one |
|---|---|---|
| Emberpup | Yes, five regions | Catch it |
| Flameruff | Yes, four regions | Catch it, or evolve Emberpup at level 12 once Sanctum: First Spark is cleared |
| Scorchhowl | Yes, Beast Fang Ridge | Catch it, or evolve Flameruff at level 20 after beating the Alpha Scorchhowl, with a Blaze Stone |
| Inferlupa | None | Evolution only, after a quest |
The line matters because Flameruff branches. One branch is ordinary and one is the reason you are reading this.
How to get Inferlupa in Aniimo
Finish the Journey quest Warrior in Beast Fang Ridge, which spans three real days, then evolve a Flameruff of level 20 or higher using six Unbroken Flameruff Spirit and one Night Stone. Those are the exact words the Evolve screen prints, and the data files store the same two conditions.
The reason it takes three days rather than three hours is a single objective the client repeats twice inside the quest tree: Wait until tomorrow (real time). There is no item, no currency and no in-game clock trick that skips it. WOLF is blunt about it at 3:04: you cannot just change the in-game time again, and that is why he tells people to start the chain the day they hear about it.
The whole thing, at a glance.
| Day | What the quest wants | What you pick up |
|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Hear the first campfire story at night, fight Inferlupa once, ask around about it | First Spirit Dust |
| Day 2 | Hear the second story, exhaust the dialogue | Second Spirit Dust |
| Day 3 | Hear the last story, then beat Inferlupa in a real fight | Third Spirit Dust, quest complete |
| Any time | Farm the evolution materials while the resets run | 6 Unbroken Flameruff Spirit, 1 Night Stone |
The quest’s own completion reward, read out of the data files, is 1,000 Safaris, 30,000 Credits, 30 Glimmer, 30 Sparkling Crystal and 3 Blaze Stone. Inferlupa is not in that list: the creature comes from the evolution the quest unlocks, not from a reward chest.
Where the Inferlupa quest starts: Beast Fang Ridge
The chain begins at a small campfire in the middle of the forest in Beast Fang Ridge, the region northeast of the starting camp. There is no level requirement to start the quest, but the region is a thirties zone, so a squad below that will struggle to reach the campfire in one piece.
The two numbers we have do not quite agree, so here are both. The in-game world map panel in WOLF’s footage at 0:52 reads Lv.38 to 39 for Beast Fang Ridge, while the region table behind our interactive map records 30 to 35. The live client is the one you will be fighting, so plan for the upper figure.
Arrive during the day and you find a few Emberpups beside a campfire, chatting. They are the quest givers, and the hook is the first line of dialogue: You heard? Strange things have been happening around here at night! None of them can stay awake long enough to find out what, which is the game telling you what to do next.
The client files this section under the chapter The Legend of Thousand-Fang Ridge, and its journal blurb is the same hook: in the Dead Forest of Beast Fang Ridge, there is a legend about a wolf’s head taking flight in the night.
Night one: the flying head and the first Inferlupa fight
Switch the time of day to night at the campfire, listen to the first ghost story, then walk northeast until the trees are dead and fight the Inferlupa waiting there. Everything on day one happens within about two minutes of walking, and none of it is hard.
Changing the time is the step people miss, because the campfire scene does not advance until you do it. The wheel in the screenshot below is what you are looking for, and our beginner guide explains how to reach it if you have not used it yet.
With night set, a Flameruff has joined the Emberpups and the group is telling ghost stories. The first one is the legend of the Lost Warrior, and the Scared Emberpup delivers the hook: I heard there’s a flying head in the woods! You don’t think it’s a gh-gh-ghost, do you...?
Head northeast down the path from there. When every tree around you is bare, you are in the right clearing, and Inferlupa is standing in it. It challenges you, and WOLF’s advice at 1:39 is worth repeating: the level looks frightening, but this one is weak and goes down easily. His capture shows it tagged Lv.64 against a region in the thirties, and it still folds.
Exhaust its dialogue afterwards. The quest then asks you to ask around about the Inferlupa, which unlocks two optional talks in a row: the scared Emberpup, marked directly behind you, and the Fragrant Emberpup a few steps away by the rocks. Dr. Lewis rings you once both are done. Then collect the purple column of smoke nearby: that is your first Spirit Dust, and there are three in total, one per day.
Night two: the second story and the optional eavesdropper
After the first server reset, return to the same campfire, listen to the legend of the Undefeated Warrior, exhaust the dialogue and collect the second Spirit Dust. That is the entire day two requirement, and it takes a couple of minutes.
The three Spirit Dust are not filler. Each one is a separate item in the client, named for a different ghost: Spirit Dust: Inferlupa, Spirit Dust: Old Inferlupa and Spirit Dust: Restrained Inferlupa. Read together they tell the story of three Flameruffs who chased the title of strongest: Graymane, Blazehowl and Cinderclaw. The client spells out what they became, that the Inferlupa’s three souls are the legendary Lost Warrior, Immortal Warrior and Undefeated Warrior.
There is also an eavesdropper listening in on the campfire every night. Finding it is genuinely optional, and the quest prints the question rather than the order: who is the eavesdropper, and do you wish to investigate further. WOLF finds it on night two at 3:36 and the punchline is that the eavesdropper is Inferlupa itself.
While you are here, WOLF flags a second quest that is easy to confuse with this one. Fists I starts from Dr. Lewis’s call, and it is a different branch of the same regional chapter, Icho’s course on the meaning of combat. It does not advance Warrior and it is not required for Inferlupa, but it does lean on Warrior’s steps, so it is a sensible thing to clear while the resets run.
The two Inferlupa evolution materials and where they drop
You need six Unbroken Flameruff Spirit and one Night Stone, and neither of them comes from the Warrior quest. Farm both during the two waiting days and the evolution is instant the moment the quest closes.
Both items and both sources are in the data files, so these are not estimates.
| Material | Needed | Where it drops |
|---|---|---|
| Unbroken Flameruff Spirit | 6 | The client’s own source line: defeat the Flameruff Elite roaming Thousand-Fang Ridge in battle. The client names it Flameruff · The Mighty. |
| Night Stone | 1 | The item card says Defeat Alphas. It is the Dark element stone, described as a peculiar rock containing the power of Dark Element. |
For the spirits, WOLF farms the same clearing you fought Inferlupa in, except during the day. The client explains why they are there: several Flameruffs · The Mighty gather at Thousand-Fang Ridge during the day, hoping to win a duel and earn the chance to become a Scorchhowl. Clear them, then either fast travel away and back or wait for the slow respawn, and repeat. He warns at 4:19 that the drop rate is low enough to need several passes, which is the real reason to start this on day one rather than day three. Our fast travel guide covers the reset trick if you have not unlocked the nearby points yet.
For the Night Stone, the client says only that Alphas drop it. WOLF’s recommendation at 4:28 is the Alpha Stellarys in the Forest of Falling Stars, which is the nearest Dark Alpha. Stellarys is a Dark Aniimo, so it is a sensible place to look for a Dark stone, though nothing in the data files ties the drop to that species specifically.
Night three: the fight that actually matters
After the second reset, hear the legend of the Immortal Warrior, take the third Spirit Dust, then beat Inferlupa in a full fight rather than the scripted one from night one. This is the only part of the chain that can genuinely stop you.
The quest tracker in WOLF’s footage reads exactly what you would expect: Warrior, defeat the Inferlupa. His run shows the boss at Lv.56, which is above the region band and, oddly, below the Lv.64 tag from night one: that first encounter is a scripted set piece rather than a real health bar. He is candid at 4:58 that difficulty depends on when you attempt it, so come prepared rather than curious.
His counter advice is to bring a strong Water or Wind Aniimo, and the element chart in our data backs both halves of that sentence. Inferlupa is Fire and Dark, so each element only counters one of its two types.
| Your attacker | Into its Fire half | Into its Dark half |
|---|---|---|
| Water | 1.6x | 1x |
| Wind | 1x | 1.6x |
| Earth | 1.6x | 0.625x |
| Light | 1x | 1.6x |
Win it and you get the payoff the chapter has been building to. A cutscene puts the silhouette of Icho, the legendary Scorchhowl who stands beside Dr. Lewis, over you, and the dead ridgeback trees of Thousand-Fang Ridge erupt back into leaf. The client’s own line for that moment is that the ridge does not bloom for the strongest, but an unquenchable fighting spirit is enough to make the Ridgeback Tree let its branches fall.
Evolving Flameruff into Inferlupa
Open any Flameruff at level 20 or higher in the Evolve screen and spend six Unbroken Flameruff Spirit and one Night Stone. It does not have to be the Flameruff you used in the quest, and nothing about the creature itself is special before the evolution.
The Evolve screen states both conditions in its own words, and they match the data files exactly.
| Requirement | What the screen says |
|---|---|
| Unlock Evolution | Complete Journey: Warrior. |
| Evolution Criteria | Aniimo level 20 |
| Cost | 6 Unbroken Flameruff Spirit, 1 Night Stone |
Two things worth knowing before you click. The first is that this is a branch, not a step: the same Flameruff could have become a Scorchhowl instead, which needs the same level 20 but a Blaze Stone and a single Alpha kill, the Alpha Scorchhowl, instead of a three day quest. The second is the usual evolution warning. If the Flameruff you are about to evolve is an Umbral, the dark coat does not survive, and our Umbral guide explains what you keep and what you lose.
One small confusion to clear up: the game reuses the name. Unbroken Flameruff Spirit is the evolution material, and it is also the name of Inferlupa’s Core Skill,
Unbroken Flameruff Spirit. Same words, two different things.
Is Inferlupa worth three days?
Yes, if you want a BREAK specialist. Inferlupa carries 541 total stats against Scorchhowl’s 511, and it is the only Fire and Dark creature in the family. WOLF calls it one of the strongest BREAK types in the game in his opening line, and the stat block does not argue.
What the data files store for it, next to the branch you gave up.
| Inferlupa | Scorchhowl | |
|---|---|---|
| Elements | Fire and Dark | Fire |
| Role | Break | DPS |
| Total stats | 541 | 511 |
| Magic Attack | 108 | 52 |
| Physical Attack | 89 | 119 |
| Haste | 99 | 90 |
| Unlock cost | A three day quest | Beat the Alpha Scorchhowl, one Blaze Stone |
Read that table as a swap rather than an upgrade. Scorchhowl is the physical hitter and keeps the better Physical Attack and Physical Defence; Inferlupa trades both away for more than double the Magic Attack, higher Haste and the BREAK role.
Its trait is Full Energy: after eight basic attacks in a fight, the next skill is enhanced and its damage counts as basic attack damage. The kit is built around that window.
Unbroken Flameruff Spirit ricochets between targets and stacks BREAK efficiency, five bounces normally and seven while Full Energy is up.
Hunting Pack summons clones, one extra during Full Energy.
Crossfire is a penetrating flame ray worth up to nine hits, and it gains 45% Might in the same window. Our Core Skills guide shows what the boosted version does.
The flavour is worth a line too, because the quest is the story. The client describes Inferlupa as a Flameruff who challenged the strong and lost, then absorbed the souls of companions who fell with equal bitterness, and is now driven by revenge. Three heads, three ghosts, three nights.
What costs people a day
Almost every delay on this quest comes from starting it late, not from playing it badly. The two real-time gates are fixed, so the only variable you control is how much you get done between them.
- Starting the chain in the evening. The wait is tied to the server reset, not to a 24 hour timer from your first step, so beginning early in the day usually buys you a full extra window.
- Leaving the materials until day three. The spirits drop from a named enemy with a low rate and a slow respawn. Farm them across the two waiting days and the evolution is immediate.
- Forgetting to change the time of day. The campfire scene is a night event. Standing in the right spot at noon does nothing.
- Chasing Fists I as if it were the same quest. It shares the chapter and the cast, but it does not move Warrior forward and it does not unlock Inferlupa.
- Levelling the wrong Flameruff. Any Flameruff at level 20 works once the quest is done, so evolve the copy with the Potential you want to keep rather than the one that happened to be in your squad.
One honest gap. Neither the footage nor the data files give a numeric drop rate for the Unbroken Flameruff Spirit, so a bit low is the most precise thing anyone can say about it today. If that number turns up in a later build, this page will carry it.
