Free Prismana Egg Location in Aniimo: the Echoback Landing Clam Cave

A free egg that hatches a Prismana form, sitting in a clam cave on the Echoback Landing coast. It is not there the first time you walk in. Gamer Guru found the trick that spawns it, and we matched the spot against our own map data.

The free Prismana egg is in a hidden clam cave on the north coast of Echoback Landing, and it is not there the first time you walk in: enter the cave without attacking the Susutas inside, leave, then walk straight back in, and the egg is waiting in a nest in the middle of the shell ring. It costs nothing, there is no fight on the route, and the whole trip takes about two minutes once you are standing on the right beach.

The catch is the word early. Echoback Landing is a level 36 to 40 region in our map data, and the game banners it as Recommended Level 37 to 41 when you cross in. Nothing on this route asks you to win a fight, so an under-levelled Pathfinder can make the run: Gamer Guru does it with a squad sitting between level 28 and 35. Getting there safely is the barrier, not the pickup.

The route below is his, frame by frame, with every landmark from his own footage. Where his footage and this site’s own data files disagree about what the thing is called, we say so rather than pick the prettier answer.

Where the cave is

Aniimo world map zoomed to the north coast of Echoback Landing, the player marker standing at the river mouth where the secret cave is
The map at 0:04. The player marker sits on the Echoback Landing shoreline at the point where a river runs out into the sea, east of the region label and the Bloom.

Echoback Landing is the north western region of Idyll, and the cave is on its northern shoreline, at the river mouth. Our interactive map carries exactly one Cave Entrance marker inside the whole region, and it lands on that same stretch of coast: the marker’s own note reads “A cave entrance. What could be inside?” The nearest egg spawn our survey recorded sits 35 pixels away from it on the 4096 pixel base map, which is the same doorway within rounding.

Two landmarks confirm the beach. The Echoback Landing Bloom is a short run west along the same shore, and the Beachside Sandbars Bloom is out on the water to the north.

The route, step by step

The cave mouth at 0:14. Two huge glowing blue formations either side of a purple opening, with the F · Enter the Cave prompt in the middle of the screen.
  1. Get to the north coast of Echoback Landing and run east along the shore until the two glowing blue crystal formations appear in the rock face. The Enter the Cave prompt is right between them.
  2. Go in and follow the passage. It is short: a mossy green corridor with purple ground flowers, with the Leave the Cave prompt still behind you.
  3. Do not attack the Susutas. The chamber at the end is ringed with giant pink clam shells, and Susuta are sitting in several of them. The game itself nudges you: “A couple of Susutas? Better not disturb them.” There is no egg here yet.
  4. Walk back out, then walk straight back in. Take the Leave the Cave prompt, sit through the loading screen, and take Enter the Cave again from the same spot.
  5. Take the egg. On the second entry it is sitting in a twig nest in the centre of the clam ring, with a Prismana marker hovering over it. “An Aniimo Egg! Here?!” Interact, pick it up, and it lands in your bag as Egg x1.

Outside again at 0:38. The region banner confirms Echoback Landing at Recommended Level 37 to 41, and the Enter the Cave prompt is already back on the mouth.

The same chamber at 0:58, after one exit and one re-entry. The egg is in a nest at the centre of the ring, where nothing was before.

Our own map notes back up why the re-entry matters. The egg spawns in this region carry the line “availability can depend on local activity progress”, which is the dry version of what the video shows: the chamber has to be reloaded before the egg is placed in it. Leaving and returning is the cheapest way to force that reload.

Hatching the egg

The Outpost Hatchinator screen in Aniimo with the Egg loaded and its item card open, reading Use in the Outpost Hatchinators to hatch an unknown type of Aniimo
The Hatchinator at 1:29. The item card names the pickup simply Egg, and its instruction line is “use in the Outpost Hatchinators to hatch an unknown type of Aniimo”.

The egg does nothing in your bag. Teleport to any Outpost, the rest points described in game as somewhere “for Pathfinders to take a rest and report the Aniimo they’ve caught”, and use the Hatchinator standing there. Gamer Guru uses the one south of the Forest of Falling Stars, near The Argent Strait, which is a long way from the cave and makes the point: any Outpost will do.

Load the egg, then twine an Aniipod, because the hatch needs a device to catch the result: he spends an Aniipod Pro. The reveal then resolves four orbs in turn, for role, stage, element and quality.

One naming disagreement worth knowing before you go. Everyone calls this the free Prismana egg, and on this run it produced a Prismana form. But the item you actually pick up is called simply Egg, and our egg database lists that item at Epic rarity with exactly the flavour text on screen here. It is not one of the Prismatic-rarity Prismana [species] Egg items, which are a separate family. Gamer Guru reports it always hatches a Prismana form; we have seen one hatch, so treat “always” as his finding rather than ours.

What a Prismana form gives you

The hatch result screen in Aniimo showing Magmarex with the Prismana and Good tags, a Fire-element BREAK Aniimo at the Nova stage
The result at 1:46. Magmarex, BREAK role, Nova stage, tagged Good for quality and Prismana for form.

This egg hatched Prismana Magmarex, and the species is a useful example of what the form is and is not. Every stat below is a launch value, build 1.0.0.7.

The Prismana form does not make an Aniimo stronger. Our Aniilog gives Magmarex and its Prismana form the same 539 total attributes, the same 110 HP, the same Break role and the same Nova stage. What moves is the body typing: the launch client gives the base form a Fire plus Earth body and the Prismana form a Fire plus Dark one, so the rare version reads differently against elemental matchups while hitting for the same numbers. That is the same conclusion our free Prismana comparison and ZakkuVerse’s verdict on the giveaway reach across the whole roster, and our forms guide has the full picture.

What you are handed, then, is a rare cosmetic tier plus a matchup, free, on a species you did not choose: Magmarex is native to Zephyrus Landbridge, nowhere near this cave.

Is it worth the detour?

Yes, if you can reach the coast safely. Two minutes, no combat, no cost, and the result is a Nova stage Aniimo in one of the rarest visual tiers in the game. Compared with everything else you can do with two minutes in Aniimo, that is an unusually good rate.

The honest caveats, in order of how much they should slow you down:

  • The region is level 36 to 40. Nothing on the route fights you, but the walk in can. Go with a flying Aniimo if you have one, or arrive from the Echoback Landing Bloom rather than overland.
  • It is one egg, and one species roll. You do not pick what comes out, and a Break role Fire Aniimo is not what every squad is short of.
  • Repeatability is unproven. The video shows a single pickup. The exit and re-enter trick is what makes the egg appear at all, and our map notes say availability depends on local activity progress, but nobody has shown the same nest refilling twice.

If you want a Prismana you actually choose, the launch reward still hands every player one for free, and the live board is fourteen rather than the six our beta coverage found: our Prismana Pact guide names all fourteen and shows every Sparkling preview, and the stat-by-stat comparison is here. This cave is the bonus on top, and the only cost is the walk.

Where is the free Prismana egg in Aniimo?

In a hidden cave on the north coast of Echoback Landing, at the point where a river runs out into the sea. The entrance is framed by two large glowing blue crystal formations in the rock face, and it is the only cave entrance marked anywhere in the region. Inside, a short mossy passage leads to a chamber ringed with giant clam shells, and the egg appears in a nest at the centre of that ring.

Why is the Prismana egg not in the cave when I first go in?

Because the chamber has to be reloaded before the egg is placed in it. On the first visit the ring of clam shells holds only Susuta and nothing else. Walk back out through the same passage, sit through the loading screen, then take the Enter the Cave prompt again: on the second entry the egg is sitting in a twig nest in the middle of the ring. Our map data describes egg spawns in this region as depending on local activity progress, which is the same behaviour stated less helpfully.

How early can you get the free Prismana egg?

As early as you can survive the trip to Echoback Landing. The region is level 36 to 40 in our map data and the game banners it as Recommended Level 37 to 41, but nothing on the route requires a fight: you walk in, walk out, walk back in and pick the egg up. Gamer Guru makes the run with a squad between level 28 and 35, so being under the region band is not a blocker, only a risk on the way there.

What does the Prismana egg hatch into?

A random Aniimo in its Prismana form. On the run filmed here it hatched Magmarex, a Fire element Break Aniimo at the Nova stage, tagged Prismana for form and Good for quality. Magmarex is native to Zephyrus Landbridge rather than to Echoback Landing, so the species is not tied to where the egg was found. Gamer Guru reports the egg always produces a Prismana form; that is his finding across his own runs rather than something we have tested.

Is the free Prismana egg a one-time pickup?

Treat it as one time until someone proves otherwise. The video shows a single pickup, and while the exit and re-enter trick is what makes the egg appear at all, no footage yet shows the same nest refilling for the same player. Our map notes for the region say egg availability can depend on local activity progress, which leaves the door open without confirming anything.

Do I have to attack the Susutas in the cave?

No, and you should not. The instruction that runs across the whole first step is to enter the cave but not attack them, and the game prompts the same thing in its own line, "A couple of Susutas? Better not disturb them." Susuta are Water element Break Aniimo at the Lumin stage and Echoback Landing is their home region, so they are not guarding anything you need. Walk past them.

Where do I hatch an egg in Aniimo?

At a Hatchinator, which stands at every Outpost. The egg item itself says to use it in the Outpost Hatchinators to hatch an unknown type of Aniimo, and it does nothing while it sits in your bag. Teleport to any Outpost, load the egg into the machine, twine an Aniipod so there is a device to catch the result, and start hatching. Any Outpost works: the one used in this video is south of the Forest of Falling Stars, a long way from the cave.
