Aniimo Golden Forms: Mountain Helmut and the Jawling Line
The golden Helmut, Jawling, Helmwhelp, Helgon and Rookey of Russet Highlands are the game’s Mountain and Mountain Woods forms, and they are not an evolution reward: the launch client gives five of the six their own wild spawn points, gated behind two small puzzles. UnyPhi ran both of them on camera, and every clue line, spawn rule and level below was read off his screen and checked against the game’s data files.

The golden Aniimo in Russet Highlands are the game’s Mountain and Mountain Woods forms, and five of the six are caught in the wild rather than evolved. Helmut, Rookey, Jawling, Helmwhelp and Helgon each have their own spawn points inside that one region. Only Mountain Woods Form Pawney has none, so that one has to be evolved.
Two small gates stand in front of them. The Helmut side needs an Aniimo that can Cloak, because a Devoted Helmut guards the Golden Helmet and turns you back on foot. The Jawling side needs a leaf pile in the ruins on the northern cliff smashed open, and a Fire skill for the vines underneath. Clear those two and the whole set becomes ordinary Aniipod work.
The route is UnyPhi’s, filmed in the live game on 19 September 2026, and every timestamp points at his footage. The spawn counts, the stats, the skills and the form names come from the game’s own data files, build 1.0.0.7, the same catalogue behind our Aniidex. Where the two disagree, this page says so. Checked 20 September 2026.
What the golden Aniimo in Russet Highlands actually are
The game never calls them golden. It calls them Mountain Form and Mountain Woods Form, and both names sit in the same Field Notes panel as the creature’s element and stage. Golden is the word players use, and it comes from the game’s own script: the cut scene that stops you at the first one calls the prize the Golden Helmet.
There are two separate families here, and mixing them up is the most common mistake in this region. Helmut is a Dark Break Aniimo that ends in Pawney or Rookey, and its regional variant is called Mountain Woods Form. Jawling is a Wind Break Aniimo that grows into Helmwhelp and then branches, and its variant is called Mountain Form. They look alike because both wear helmets. They are not related.

Helgon543One thing the Jawling side is worth being precise about, because our Infergon guide settles it: the line branches at Helmwhelp, into Helgon or Infergon, and it does not pass through Helgon on the way to Infergon. That matters here because Infergon has no Mountain form at all. The golden branch of this family stops at Helgon.
Every Mountain and Mountain Woods form in Russet Highlands
Six forms, one region, and the spawn point counts in the launch client are the whole story of how hard each one is. Helgon has a single point. Pawney has none.
| Aniimo | Form | Element and role | Spawn points | How you get one |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Helmut | Mountain Woods | Dark · Break · Lumin | 3 | Cloak past the Devoted Helmut, then catch |
| Rookey | Mountain Woods | Dark · Break · Nova | 1 | Catch it, after the Helmut |
| Pawney | Mountain Woods | Dark · DPS · Nova | none | Evolve a Mountain Woods Form Helmut |
| Jawling | Mountain | Wind · Break · Lumin | 4 | Open the buried chamber in the ruins, then catch |
| Helmwhelp | Mountain | Wind · Break · Gamma | 2 | Catch it, after the Jawling |
| Helgon | Mountain | Wind · Break · Nova | 1 | Catch it in the air, after the Jawling |
For scale, the ordinary versions of the same creatures carry 78 Helmut points, 161 Jawling, 33 Helmwhelp, 3 Helgon and 2 Rookey, all of them in Russet Highlands and nowhere else. The golden variants are a thin layer on top of a region that is already the busiest in the game for these two families. The region page has the rest of its roster, and the Incredible Eggs run covers the other collectible trail through the same hills.
How to get Mountain Woods Form Helmut
Fly to Russet Highlands, find the rock with three helmets sitting on it, and bring an Aniimo that can Cloak. A Devoted Helmut stands over them and stops you dead every time you approach without one.
The block is scripted rather than a fight. Walk in on foot and the screen cuts to black for a line of dialogue, and you are put back where you started.
The answer is the Cloak exploration skill. Three species carry it in the launch client: Wisptis, Ignitis and Fulmintis, across nine entries once their regional forms are counted. UnyPhi swaps in a Wisptis, and notes that they turn up in a lot of places on the map, so you can simply pick whichever is nearest.
There is a small joke buried in the data here. Helmut’s own exploration skill is Detection, which the Aniilog describes as vision that shows you metal objects and cloaked Aniimo nearby. The guard in this scene does not use it.
Take the helmet and the scene resolves itself. The line that comes up names the form outright, which is the cleanest confirmation on the whole page that golden and Mountain Woods Form are the same thing.
From there it is an ordinary catch. UnyPhi’s point about what happens next is the useful part: once you have taken the first one, more Mountain Woods Form Helmuts appear around the area, and the next step of the set unlocks with it.
Where the Mountain Woods Form Rookey is
There is no puzzle on this one. It stands in the open grass at the second marker, and you throw an Aniipod at it. UnyPhi’s description is hard to improve on: it is sitting down doing some poses.
Rookey is the Nova ending of the Helmut line and the better of the two on our board: it sits at T0 on the tier list, on 540 total attributes, while Pawney sits at T0.5. So the creature you are walking up to here is the strongest thing in either family.
The catch card spells out what the form is and where the nickname came from, in the game’s own words.
Mountain Woods Form Pawney has to be evolved
Pawney is the one exception on this page. It has no habitat and no spawn points anywhere in the launch client, in any form, so no Aniipod will ever land on a golden one. UnyPhi says the same thing in the video, and the data agrees: catch a Mountain Woods Form Helmut and evolve that instead.
This is the rule our forms guide sets out for regional variants in general: a level threshold plus the right region, applied at the moment you press evolve. Each individual evolves once, so a Mountain Woods Form Helmut taken somewhere else and evolved there is gone. The other five forms on this page are the interesting exception to that rule, because the client also gives them wild spawn points of their own.
What you get for the trouble is a Dark DPS Nova on 505 total attributes, with
Ironclad Armament at 220 power and 73.33 BREAK power as its innate. Pawney and Rookey are also the two the game’s own build panel pairs with Hexxin and Fragrancier in the field.
Unlocking the Mountain Form Jawling in the ruins
The clue on the map is exact, and it is the fastest way to find the spot: inside the ruins on the northern cliff of the Sanctum, First Sight. That is a named fast travel point, so you can warp most of the way.
Up on the flagstones there are several piles of dry leaves. Most of them are scenery. The ones that matter are at the very back, and they come apart under a BREAK attack.
Under the pile is a shaft. Drop in, and the run turns into a very short dungeon.
The chamber below is blocked by red vines, and the game tells you exactly what to do about them. Swap to a Fire Aniimo and burn them out.
The Jawling is at the end of that corridor at Lv.53, and a fences gate opens on the way back out. The catch card confirms the form.
And this is the part that turns a one-off catch into a set. Taking this Jawling unlocks the rest of the line, both in the field around you and on the map cards for Helmwhelp and Helgon.
Catching the Mountain Form Helmwhelp
Head east of the ruins to the stone pillar forest. The map card names the exact platform, and it also prints the one spawn rule on this page that nobody would guess.
Read that spawn rule twice, because it is the difference between a five minute detour and an hour of wandering. The Mountain Form Helmwhelp refreshes when you open the chest hidden inside the rock, not on a timer and not on the clock. That is the game’s own text, straight off the card.
UnyPhi finds two Helmwhelps waiting at the platform, at Lv.49, and takes them with ordinary throws. Nothing here needs a tracer or a Mega pod.
Catching the Mountain Form Helgon in the air
The last one does not stand on the ground. Fly to the top of the rock pillars at the third marker and the Helgon that usually circles there will have turned golden. One spawn point, and it is moving.
UnyPhi’s one piece of advice for this catch is the practical one: use a tracer Aniipod so you do not have to lead the throw. A flying target at range is the only thing in this whole set that can waste your pods.
Helgon is a 543 total attribute Wind Break Nova, the biggest attribute total in either family, and its innate
Skyfall lands 175 power and 58.33 BREAK power from the air. It sits at T0.5 on our tier list.
When nothing spawns: reset the day
UnyPhi closes on the fix for the most common failure here. If you have caught the Helmut and the Jawling but the rest of the set will not appear, cycle the time of day from day to night and back to day. He says that resets the spawns.
That is the creator’s own troubleshooting rather than a rule printed anywhere in the client, so treat it as what it is: a thing that worked on camera. The panel he means is the Day and Night control, and our guide to changing the time of day explains where it lives and what else it moves. Worth knowing before you try it: that panel moves the clock and nothing else, so it will not conjure a weather form.
Are the golden forms stronger than the normal ones?
No. Every one of the six carries exactly the same element, role, stage, attribute line, skill list and BREAK power as its basic form. We checked all six against the game’s ability tables, and not a single number moves.
| Aniimo | Element · role | Total attributes | Signature skill | Power / BREAK power |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Helmut, both forms | Dark · Break | 339 | Guardbreak Slam | 45 / 3 |
| Rookey, both forms | Dark · Break | 540 | Heavy Slam | 196 / 65.33 |
| Pawney, both forms | Dark · DPS | 505 | Ironclad Armament | 220 / 73.33 |
| Jawling, both forms | Wind · Break | 407 | Overcharged Claw Strike | 68 / 34 |
| Helmwhelp, both forms | Wind · Break | 489 | Overcharged Claw Strike | 68 / 34 |
| Helgon, both forms | Wind · Break | 543 | Skyfall | 175 / 58.33 |
So this is a collection chase, not a power chase, which is exactly what the forms guide already says about regional variants: the documented differences are appearance and unlock conditions. Where the golden forms do pay is the Aniilog percentage in the corner of the map, which is the number UnyPhi is chasing across the whole video and which moves from 75 to 86 per cent during it.
If you want these creatures for a squad rather than the log, the useful reading is elsewhere on the site. Helmut’s best teams page builds a defensive BREAK core around it and lists the three squads the game’s own build panel suggests, and the Team Builder will score any of the six against the rest of your roster. The odds that go with a catch are the same for every form too: a Sparkling encounter at 1 in 20,000 and an Umbral at 1 in 3,000, both read from the game’s data files.
What this run does not answer
Three honest gaps, and one disagreement between the screen and our catalogue.
- The evolution route to the golden forms is never shown. UnyPhi catches five of them and says the sixth has to be evolved. Whether evolving an ordinary Helmwhelp inside Russet Highlands also produces a Mountain Form is not on camera, and nothing in our data settles it either.
- The Aniilog numbers do not line up. The catch cards in this footage read No.063 for Rookey, No.064 for Jawling and No.066 for Helgon. Our Aniidex lists the same three as 064, 065 and 067, one higher in each case. The names, forms and stages all match, so this is an indexing difference rather than a mix-up, and we are leaving our numbering alone until a later build settles it.
- The region band. The map reads Lv.49 to 51 for Russet Highlands throughout this video, against 45 to 50 in the region table we publish. Our Infergon guide hit the same gap on the same region three days earlier.
- The chamber puzzle is partly off screen. The Fire skill and the vines are clear. The Aniimo UnyPhi twines with to finish the sequence is not legible long enough to name, so this page does not name it.
None of that changes the route. Two puzzles, six forms, one region, and the only one you cannot throw a pod at is Pawney.
