Aniimo Team Builder

Drop four Aniimo into a squad and see it scored out of 100: the roles it covers, how tightly it is built on one attacking element, the weaknesses every member shares, how the kits feed each other and how good the members are on raw stats. Every one of the 206 released forms in the Aniilog is pickable, and the swaps worth making are listed under the score.

100 points, split five ways

25Roles
A squad has four jobs to fill: damage, a Break to strip guards, sustain from a Heal or a Regen, and a Support to buff. Skills that do the job count even when the role label on the card says something else.
25Offence
Aniimo rewards several focused squads, one per element, rather than one squad that covers all nine. This finds the element your four converge on, then scores how many of the attackers fight with it and whether the Support and the sustain stand on it too.
20Synergy
Debuffs and marks that stack on the same target, buffers standing next to a damage dealer, the partners the game itself names on a skill, and members that already share a published squad.
15Defence
Body elements decide what hurts you. Four Aniimo weak to the same element is one boss away from a wipe, so a spread of body elements scores above a mono-element line-up.
15Quality
Where each member sits on base stats against the whole roster, and where the tier list puts it. Raw quality is the smallest slice on purpose: a well-built squad of good Aniimo beats a loose one of great Aniimo.

Out of scope on purpose

Levels, Resonance and held items are account progress and would drown out the part of a squad you choose. Runes too: no held item ships with a rune socket at launch. Each dimension is scored alone first, so a squad that fails one can still grade well.

Read from the game files

Each ability’s element and BREAK power come from the game’s ability table, each role from the job the files assign. That is where the sixth role, Energy, comes from; it scores in the Support slot, since it amplifies the squad rather than acting itself.

One slot, one problem.

  • 01

Start with the Aniimo you like

Pick the one you want to play, then build the other three slots around the problems it runs into. A squad copied from a ranking you did not enjoy gets abandoned two zones later.

  • 02

    Two elements, two questions

The body element decides what hits your Aniimo hard. The ability element decides whether your attack exploits a weakness, and it is the one a squad is built around: one squad per element, not one for all nine. The element chart has the full grid.

  • 03

Read the kit, not the label

A role label is the job the Aniimo was given, not the limit of what it can do: plenty of DPS carry a shield, plenty of Supports hit hard. Its Aniidex skill list is the honest answer.

  • 04

Most weak Aniimo are just behind, not bad

Check level and Resonance before you bench one: a gap in either explains nearly every case, and both close with time rather than a re-roll. Potential below Perfect moves the numbers by a few percent, and no fight is decided by that.

  1. What does the Aniimo team builder score mean?

It is a 0 to 100 read on how well four Aniimo work together, weighted across five things: the roles covered, how tightly the squad is built on one attacking element, the weaknesses it shares on defence, the synergy between the kits, and the raw quality of the members. 85 and up grades S, 70 grades A, 55 grades B, 40 grades C. It scores the shape of the squad, not your account: levels, Resonance and gear sit outside the model.

  2. How many Aniimo are in an Aniimo squad?

Four. Every squad in Aniimo runs 4 slots, so the builder scores four and the recommendations fill or replace one of those four at a time.

  3. Do I need one of every role in a squad?

No. Role labels describe a job rather than a rule, and plenty of Aniimo do a second job through their kit: a DPS that also applies a shield covers sustain in practice. The builder rewards the job being done, from the label or from the skills, which is why a squad with no Support card can still score well.

  4. Does the body element matter for attacks in Aniimo?

Not directly. The element printed on an Aniimo is what it defends with, so it decides what hits it for 1.6×. What decides whether your attack exploits a weakness is the element on the ability itself, and the two are often different. The builder uses the element the game assigns each ability in its own data files, build 1.0.0.7, so a Fire Aniimo swinging Ice is scored as Ice.

  5. Do I need a 100% team in Aniimo?

No. Anything in the A band clears the current content comfortably, and the last few points usually cost you an Aniimo you enjoy playing. Treat the score as a way to find the hole in a squad, not as a target to max out.

  6. Is there an Aniimo team builder?

Yes: this one. It is free, it runs in the browser with nothing to install and no account to make, and all 206 forms in the launch build are pickable. Drop up to four into the four slots and it scores the squad out of 100 on roles, element focus, shared weaknesses, synergy and quality, then lists the swaps that raise that score most.

  7. How do I share my Aniimo squad?

Every squad lives in its own address. As you pick, the builder writes the four slugs into a ?team= link, and the Copy link button puts that address on your clipboard. Whoever opens it lands on the same four Aniimo with the same score, so a squad travels through a comment or a Discord message without a screenshot.

Scores are computed from the game’s own creature, skill and element data; the model is ours and is explained above. Base stats, skills and roles come from the official Aniilog via the Aniidex, the matchup multipliers from the element chart, and the published squads from Best Teams, re-checked on 16 September 2026.
