The Aniimo Harvest Moon Festival is a Home Season event that opens at RV level 10: you farm Moonray Wheat from four Harvest Dailies, help Jojo through five Gathering Preparations steps in your Home’s Limited-Time Event Zone, cook him five each of six dishes for the Grand Feast, and then run the Harvest Gathering once a day in the final week before the event ends on 27 October 2026. The Grand Feast alone pays a Wonder Egg, 300,000 Credits and 600 Moonray Wheat, and the first preparation step hands out 1,000 Wood Blocks and 500 Mineral Sand, the two materials that hold back most RV upgrades.
This guide follows LayZeeAussie’s video of 9 October 2026, filmed with roughly 18 days of the event left. The step cards, rewards and recipe panels below are read off his screen. Where he gives a figure the screen does not show, such as a blueprint total or the odds of a mutation, it is credited to him. Recipes, stations and crop yields were checked against the game’s own data files, build 1.0.0.7, on 11 October 2026, and they match his client.
How does the Harvest Moon Festival work in Aniimo?
Reach RV level 10, finish the Stage 2 opening story and speak to Jojo: that starts the opening quest, Harvest Under the Moon, and puts the festival in your Home. The quest gives four Recipe Notes, Moondew Radish, Waxing Moon Pepper, Roasted Waxing Moon Pepper and Moondew Radish Slices, plus 100 Moonray Wheat. Buy your seeds, then find Jojo in the Limited-Time Event Zone of your Home. The RV 10 upgrade screen announces it in so many words.
The festival runs in three stages, and the game’s own rule text names them: Stage 1, Harvest, opens the Harvest Dailies, Moondew Crops and Harvest Moon Point collection; Stage 2, Preparation, opens Gathering Preparations and the season-limited furniture exchange; Stage 3, Gathering, opens the Harvest Moon Gathering. LayZeeAussie puts the dates on a roadmap of his own.
He also says new goals open at 8:00 pm UTC. That one detail explains every one-day gap between his narration and his client: 8:00 pm UTC on 13 October is already 4:00 am on 14 October in UTC+8, and 4 am is when the game says its dailies refresh. So the client labels each step with the next day’s date. The table gives both.
| Stage or step | LayZeeAussie says | Client label | What opens |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stage 1: Harvest | 15 September | Season live at RV 10 | Harvest Dailies, Moondew Crops, Harvest Moon Points |
| Stage 2: Preparation | 7 October | Steps 1 and 2 open | Clear the Plot, Gather in Joy, Season Exchange furniture |
| Step 3: Harvest Underway | 11 October | Timer to 11 October, 06:30 on his clock | Bright Blooms combo |
| Step 4: Festival Lanterns | 13 October | Opens Oct 14 | Festive Lights combo |
| Step 5: Grand Feast | 16 October | Opens Oct 17 | Jojo’s six dishes |
| Stage 3: Harvest Gathering | 20 October (21 in the video description) | Unlocks 7 days before the event ends | The daily Gathering and a fifth daily task |
| End | 27 October | Event Time Remaining 18d12h at filming | Everything closes |
The Harvest Moon Festival page itself counts it down. On his screen the event has 18d12h left and the Harvest Gathering “Unlocks after 11d12h”: the Gathering opens exactly seven days before the season closes, whatever your time zone.
Harvest Dailies: 600 Moonray Wheat a day
Four extra daily tasks pay 150 Moonray Wheat each, 600 a day, and each one adds a second reward that matters more than the wheat. They reset at 4:00 am server time. Moonray Wheat is the event’s only currency: its tooltip says Yama, GoGoHomes’ chief designer, trades rare seasonal furniture for it.
- Complete 3 Home orders: 150 Moonray Wheat and 10 Plant Growth Tonic.
- Sell Home produce once at the Co-op Store: 150 and 10 Energizing Work Meal.
- Complete 1 Aniimo outing at a relay station: 150 and 200 Wood Block.
- Loosen the soil at a friend’s Home once: 150 and 200 Mineral Sand.
LayZeeAussie’s point is the last two rows. Wood Blocks and Mineral Sand are the bottleneck on RV upgrades, and his own RV 11 card asks for 320 and 350 of the processed parts on top of 680,000 Credits. 200 of each a day for a few minutes’ work is the best thing in the event for a Home that is still levelling. The friend task needs a Home friend, which is why he asks viewers to post their Home ID under the video.
His second tip turns the other two rewards into the same thing. Plant Growth Tonic and Energizing Work Meal instantly finish Woodland and Mine work, so spend them on your Wood Block and Mineral Sand producers rather than on crops.
From the Harvest Gathering onwards a fifth daily joins them: take part in the Gathering once, for 300 Moonray Wheat and 10 Plant Growth Tonic. LayZeeAussie puts a full season of dailies at about 29,000 Moonray Wheat. If you are starting on 11 October, the honest figure is smaller: 17 days at 600 is 10,200, plus seven Gathering days at 300 is 2,100, so 12,300. That is still five times what the preparations and the feast cost, as the next sections show.
Gathering Preparations: the five steps and their rewards
Gathering Preparations is a five-step chain with Jojo, each step opening only after the one before it is done, and the last four pay 1,500 Moonray Wheat and 750,000 Credits between them. The panel tracks it as Preparation progress, 1/5 to 5/5, and shows the Current Area Habitability of the event zone underneath.
Step 1, Clear the Plot. Clear the weeds and clutter from your festival ground, which costs nothing, and talk to Jojo. It is the most generous step in the event for an RV that is short of materials.
Step 2, Gather in Joy. Talk to Jojo, ask the Emberpup on your festival ground what it wants, report back, then place the Harvest Gathering: Get-Together combo in the Limited-Time Event Zone. LayZeeAussie gives the reward as 200 Moonray Wheat, 100,000 Credits and 1,000 Bud Tickets.
Step 3, Harvest Underway. Ask Celestis, then place Harvest Gathering: Bright Blooms. At filming it was still locked, with a timer to 11 October.
Step 4, Festival Lanterns. The card spells out the four objectives: keep discussing festival arrangements with Jojo, ask Sparki what it wants, return and inform Jojo, and place Harvest Gathering: Festive Lights in the Limited-Time Event Zone.
Step 5, Grand Feast. Jojo reviews the festival checklist and asks for food: five each of six dishes, covered in full below. All five at a glance:
| Step | What you do | Rewards | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Clear the Plot | Clear debris, talk to Jojo | 100 Moonray Wheat, 50,000 Credits, 1,000 Wood Block, 500 Mineral Sand | Screen |
| 2. Gather in Joy | Ask Emberpup, place Get-Together | 200 Moonray Wheat, 100,000 Credits, 1,000 Bud Tickets | LayZeeAussie |
| 3. Harvest Underway | Ask Celestis, place Bright Blooms | 300 Moonray Wheat, 150,000 Credits, 30 Plant Growth Tonic, 15 Energizing Work Meal | Screen |
| 4. Festival Lanterns | Ask Sparki, place Festive Lights | 400 Moonray Wheat, 200,000 Credits, 200 Voxel Coin | Screen |
| 5. Grand Feast | Give Jojo 30 dishes | 600 Moonray Wheat, 300,000 Credits, Wonder Egg, Disc: Silver Moon Path | Screen |
The five steps add up to 1,600 Moonray Wheat and 800,000 Credits, the same 1,600 the game’s data gives for the preparation goals. LayZeeAussie says “gold” throughout; the client calls it Credits.
What the three furniture combos cost
LayZeeAussie puts the three combos at about 1,966 Moonray Wheat in all, and his advice is to save for them before buying any other furniture. The sequence is the same for each piece: buy its blueprint once at the Season Exchange with Moonray Wheat, use it, and the piece unlocks in the Furniture Store, where it costs between 3 and 55 Moonray Wheat, and some pieces Bud Tickets as well. The Credits come when the whole set is placed in the event zone, not when you buy the blueprint.
- Get-Together (step 2): three blueprints for 690 Moonray Wheat, which the shop confirms at 230 each, then 193 Moonray Wheat and 693 Bud Tickets of furniture.
- Bright Blooms (step 3): seven blueprints for 700, then 79 of furniture.
- Festive Lights (step 4): two blueprints for 220, then 84 and 180 Bud Tickets.
His three blueprint totals and three furniture totals do add up to 1,966. Only the Get-Together set is open on screen, so treat the other two as his figures until your own shop shows them.
Habitability is the reason to place the sets properly. The game’s rule text says the higher the Habitability of the Limited-Time Event Zone, the better the Gathering rewards. LayZeeAussie says the three combos bring about 4,473 and that the Gathering needs 1,200, so the combos clear the bar with room to spare. Aniimo in the zone add Habitability too, more with special appearance tags. The Homeland planner’s Harvest Moon mode lists the five steps and the six dishes as tips beside your production plan.
Grand Feast dishes, ingredients and stations
Jojo asks for five Tanghulu, five Maple Candy Apple Jam, five Lavender Cookies, five Umbral Pickle, five Umbral Hot Pot and five Harvest Platter, and pays 600 Moonray Wheat, 300,000 Credits, a Wonder Egg and Disc: Silver Moon Path. The first three are ordinary Home dishes; the last three are season dishes that need Recipe Notes from the Season Exchange.
The Wonder Egg’s own description reads It will hatch into an Aniimo with at least the Alpha or Sparkling mutation. Our eggs page and the egg hatching guide cover which Aniipod to put it in.
Every recipe below is on LayZeeAussie’s screen, and every one matches the game’s data, stations and levels included.
| Dish (x5) | Station | Ingredients each | Recipe Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tanghulu | Blazing Stove, Level 2 | 8 Strawberry, 1 Rock Candy | None |
| Maple Candy Apple Jam | Simmering Pot, Level 3 | 9 Maple Syrup, 8 Apple | None |
| Lavender Cookies | Claw Game Cooker, Level 4 | 1 Lavender Powder, 1 Wheatmeal | None |
| Umbral Pickle | Pickling Jar, Level 1 | 8 Moondew Radish, 8 Waxing Moon Pepper, 1 Cider Vinegar | 80 Moonray Wheat |
| Umbral Hot Pot | Blazing Stove, Level 1 | 8 Moondew Radish, 8 Waxing Moon Pepper, 8 Plain Fresh Water | 80 Moonray Wheat |
| Harvest Platter | Crafting Table, Level 1 | 1 Roasted Waxing Moon Pepper, 1 Moondew Radish Slices | 120 Moonray Wheat |
Six intermediates sit under those dishes. Rock Candy is 6 Sugarcane and 8 Plain Fresh Water at a Level 3 Simmering Pot. Cider Vinegar is 8 Apple at a Level 2 Pickling Jar. Lavender Powder is 7 Lavender at a Level 3 Carousel Mill, and Wheatmeal is 50 ordinary Wheat at a Level 1 Carousel Mill. Roasted Waxing Moon Pepper is 8 Waxing Moon Pepper and 23 Sea Salt at a Level 1 Claw Game Cooker. Moondew Radish Slices are 8 Moondew Radish and 1 Rock Candy at a Level 1 Blazing Stove.
Every recipe, with its station and the RV that opens it, is on our Homeland recipes page.
How much to grow for the Grand Feast
Thirty dishes come down to 120 Moondew Radish, 120 Waxing Moon Pepper, 40 Strawberry, 60 Sugarcane, 45 Maple Syrup, 80 Apple, 35 Lavender, 250 Wheat, 120 Plain Fresh Water and 115 Sea Salt. That is LayZeeAussie’s shopping list, and the arithmetic holds: the radish is 40 each for the pickle, the hot pot and the slices; the water is 40 for the hot pot plus 80 for ten Rock Candy; the salt is five roasts at 23.
His prep order, in his words:
- Plant the 30 moon seeds now. Each seed grows 8 crops in 40 minutes, so 15 Moondew Radish Seeds and 15 Waxing Moon Pepper Seeds cover the feast. Seeds are 4 Moonray Wheat each.
- Make 10 Rock Candy and 5 Cider Vinegar.
- Grow 35 Lavender and 40 Strawberry. He says Lavender yields nothing without a sun lamp, and Strawberry likes the cold. Both are Level 5 Farmland crops that open at RV 9.
- Stockpile 115 Sea Salt and 120 Plain Fresh Water. The salt is the slow one; the Susuta family runs the Sandcastle.
- Cook the dishes.
The Wheat is ordinary Wheat from Farmland, not Moonray Wheat: 50 per Wheatmeal, five Wheatmeal. If you want the planner to schedule all of it around your normal production, its Harvest Moon mode reserves two Farmlands as Radish and Pepper farms and adds the feast as an order.
How should you spend Moonray Wheat?
LayZeeAussie’s order is: Recipe Notes and seeds first, about 400 Moonray Wheat; the three Gathering combos second, about 1,966; furniture for points last, favouring the pieces that pay 12 points per wheat. The feast budget on his screen is three notes at 80, 80 and 120, plus 60 for each type of seed.
That is 2,366 Moonray Wheat for everything that pays a reward, against 12,300 still on offer from the dailies if you start on 11 October, plus 1,600 from the steps themselves. Anything left over buys points.
Harvest Moon Points and the rewards ladder
Every season-limited item you collect adds Harvest Moon Points, and the ladder pays a blueprint, a cosmetic or a Dream Spark at each threshold from 1,000 to 120,000. The game’s rule text says the same: season-limited crops and season-limited furniture both count. A Moondew Radish is worth 1 point, a dish 4 to 8, a mutated crop 100 to 800 by LayZeeAussie’s count, and furniture 10 to 12 points per Moonray Wheat spent. Seeds are poor value for points.
| Points | Reward |
|---|---|
| 1,000 | Furniture Blueprint: Harvest Moon - Laurel |
| 3,000 | Avatar: Blossoms in Splendor |
| 6,000 | Furniture Blueprint: Harvest Moon - Starfall |
| 10,000 | Frame: Moonlit Harvest |
| 20,000 | Furniture Blueprint: Harvest Moon - Fireworks |
| 40,000 | Card: Harvesting Moments |
| 60,000 | Furniture Blueprint: Harvest Moon - Osmanthus Rain |
| 80,000 | Title: Moon Farmer |
| 100,000 | Furniture Blueprint: Harvest Moon - Radiant Moon |
| 120,000 | Dream Spark |
Three of the ladder’s blueprints, Starfall, Osmanthus Rain and Radiant Moon, are the same pieces that top his points-per-wheat table, so the ladder feeds itself. The top reward is a single Dream Spark, which the game describes as used to exchange for rare items in your Home.
Moondew mutations: collect, do not chase
The two event crops can mutate, and the Moondew Crops index has 16 forms with collection rewards along a 32-step track, but LayZeeAussie’s advice is not to chase them. He puts the odds at about 0.05 to 0.1% per harvest. The game’s rule text describes the rest: dismantle duplicate mutated crops into Waxing Moondew, exchange it at the Fullmoon Shop for forms you are missing, and send or ask friends for the ones you lack.
The index matters for one more reason: the Season Achievement board pays points for unlocking seasonal mutant plant entries, up to 16 of them, as our Season 1 events guide lists. Every mutation you harvest anyway counts twice.
The Harvest Gathering in the last week
The Harvest Gathering opens once all five preparation steps are done, seven days before the event ends, and you start it once a day by talking to Jojo in the Limited-Time Event Zone. LayZeeAussie says the zone needs 1,200 Habitability. After a 15-second countdown comes 5 minutes 40 seconds of festival: Harvest Gifts drop in waves of five across 16 spots, each lasting 30 seconds, holding Dream Sparks, Wonder Eggs, Moonray Wheat and gift boxes.
The client’s strings back the structure: Wave {0} of Harvest Gifts will appear in the Limited-Time Event Zone in 15 seconds. Find them and open them up!, a daily cap on opening gifts, and a rule that says to invite friends to join for even better rewards. Higher Habitability means better rewards, which is the last argument for placing every combo. The Gathering also brings the fifth daily, 300 Moonray Wheat and 10 Plant Growth Tonic, so seven runs are worth 2,100 wheat on top of the gifts.
For the rest of your daily loop, the daily checklist keeps the non-event chores short, and the Homeland guide explains the workers and RV levels the feast leans on. Other limited events are on the events calendar.
Where the video and the client differ
Small things, all worth knowing before you plan around a date:
- Dates. Narration says 13 October for Festival Lanterns and 16 October for the Grand Feast; the cards say Opens Oct 14 and Opens Oct 17. The 8:00 pm UTC opening he gives explains the gap. The roadmap puts the Gathering on 20 October, the video description on 21 to 27 October.
- Names. He says Celestus and Sparky; the game says Celestis and Sparki. He says gold; the game says Credits.
- Workload. His recipe chart gives Maple Candy Apple Jam 203 and Lavender Cookies 405; the client panels say 135 for both. Ingredients and stations agree everywhere.
- Not shown on screen. The Gather in Joy reward, the Bright Blooms and Festive Lights costs, the 4,473 and 1,200 Habitability figures, the mutation odds and the Gathering timings are his narration. They are plausible and consistent with each other, but we could not read them off a frame.
