Answer · Aniimo

Does Aniimo use AI?

No statement

There is no published statement from Pawprint Studio confirming or denying the use of generative AI in Aniimo that this site has been able to verify. Anyone answering this with a definitive yes or no is going beyond the public record. The most reliable place a disclosure would appear is the Steam store page at launch.

Anything reading TBD is unpublished by Pawprint Studio, not merely unknown to us. This site does not fill those gaps with estimates — the editorial policy explains why.

Why this page does not give you a yes or a no

Because neither is on the record, and inventing one would be worse than useless. This is a question about a real studio's working practices — the sort of claim that spreads fast, is hard to retract, and does real damage when it is wrong in either direction. So: no verified statement exists, and this page says exactly that.

The question is being asked in volume, which usually means people are finding speculation rather than sourcing. What follows is what can actually be checked.

Where a disclosure would appear

This is the useful part, because it is verifiable rather than speculative.

  • The Steam store page. Valve requires developers to complete an AI-generated content disclosure when publishing, and where one is declared it appears in a dedicated section on the store page. Aniimo ships on Steam on 16 September 2026, so that field becomes readable at launch. It is the single most concrete source available, and it comes from the developer under a platform requirement rather than from a forum.
  • Official channels. A studio statement would normally appear on the official site or in a broadcast rather than in a reply somewhere.
  • Storefront disclosures elsewhere. Console and mobile stores have their own, less uniform, disclosure requirements.

This page will record what the Steam disclosure says once it exists, quoting it rather than paraphrasing.

What is confirmed about who makes Aniimo

Aniimo is developed by Pawprint Studio and published by Kingsglory. The Aniilog runs to 224 documented entries across 94 numbered Aniimo and 130 regional and Prismana forms, each with its own artwork, stat block, skill set and evolution line — you can see the full set in the Aniidex.

Note what that does and does not tell you: scale and consistency are observable, and neither is evidence for or against any particular production method. Treating them as evidence is how confident wrong answers get made.

How to read claims you find elsewhere

Two questions settle most of them. Does the claim cite a statement from the studio or a platform disclosure — or does it cite an image and an impression? And does it distinguish generative AI in shipped assets from the machine learning that has been ordinary in game development for years, in matchmaking, animation and NPC behaviour? Claims that blur those two are not answering the question people are asking.

Is Aniimo AI generated?

No verified statement from Pawprint Studio addresses this. The claim is unproven in either direction, and the most concrete source available will be the AI content disclosure on the Steam store page at launch.

Where would Aniimo disclose AI use?

On the Steam store page, where Valve requires developers to complete an AI-generated content disclosure, and in official statements from Pawprint Studio or Kingsglory.

Who develops Aniimo?

Aniimo is developed by Pawprint Studio and published by Kingsglory. It launches free-to-play on 16 September 2026 across PS5, Xbox, PC and mobile.
